Geneva - Lake Geneva region

Arrival either by plane in Geneva or by train from Zurich via Lausanne. Spend one day in Geneva. Discover the city of Geneva and its 2,000 years of history and culture. Stroll along the lake and parks, through the lovely Old‑Town on the well‑stocked shopping district. Visit Geneva’s international scene, including the European Headquarters of the United Nations, and admire the monumental “Broken Chair” symbol of the opposition to landmines situated on the majestic Place des Nations or join a sightseeing tour to the Genevan countryside or neighbouring France. Overnight in Geneva.

Day 2

A full day at leisure to take advantage of numerous excursions. Transfer by rail to Montreux Riviera or Lausanne. Spend the day along the Swiss Riviera. Take a leisurely cruise on the lake, visit Gruyères and its cheese factory, the mountain resort of Gstaad, or take the cable car to Glacier 3000 (Les Diablerets) and its panoramic restaurant designed by the famous Swiss architect Mario Botta.
