This project gave me the opportunity to work in collaboration with architects, interior designers, as well as, another landscape student in order to revitalize a declining warehouse and the surrounding parking lot. The near 4 acre site is home to the historic S.O.W.A open air market, and is surrounded by a culturaly rich community. I insisted that we design a space that would be accessible to the immediate community, implement sustainability, and to the immediate community, implement sustainability, and to accomodate the market.
I was able to learn Revit Architecture 3D the summer prior tothis course and applied a lot of what i learned on this project.
By taking a set of line drawings that represented different modes of transportation, and then overlaying them, My grounp and I were able to create a model in which helped guide us through our design.
