I have led and been part of projects for high profile clients including Everton Football Club’s Crest Consultation Process, Liverpool Council’s CityBike Cycle Hire Scheme, Liverpool Vision and the International Festival for Business, Merseytravel and the NHS.
Most recently I have been working as a freelance studio manager for the luxury chocolatier Hotel Chocolat.

I am currently the interim Studio Manager, tasked with setting up and installing new processes to assist the Creative Director with workflow, scheduling and time management.
In conjunction with the different internal departments I am providing a schedule system that will be visible throughout the organisation and to create a collaborative and open culture through communication.
A job bag / job number system and regular production meetings has been introduced to track the progress of projects and gain vital knowledge of workflow through the design department.

Working as a consultant and freelance designer. I have worked with creative, marketing and app agencies and organisations on projects that have needed a creative process at either pitch stage or for a full campaign.
Clients include, Ogilvy & Mather, Apposing, Black & Ginger, Influential, Avalanche Creative, Strawberry Star, Institute of Risk Management and NHS Norwich & Norfolk.

At Media Agency Group (MAG) I was instrumental in introducing a brand new workflow system that was centered around the use of Basecamp, to keep track of time and resource for each studio project. This set up was also used in conjunction with MS Excel, with full
weekly scheduling and individual studio timesheets being introduced.
MAG’s already existing Salesforce software was used company wide, including at CEO, MD and Senior Management level, to keep track of budgets and time spent.
Together with the Creative Lead, I was responsible for starting to set up a new Graduate Programme with Salford University.

I was brought into Kenyon Fraser to set up a structure to ensure work was completed on time and on budget. A workflow, job bag and schedule system was re-introduced for the whole organisation. In conjunction with the newly appointed Operations Manager I made sure
the job bag / job number system was strictly adhered to by all internal stakeholders to maximise the value in each project.
Due to the fluid nature of the agency we set up daily operations meetings to keep all appropriate members of staff up to date with the schedule and to manage any changes and challenges that may arise.
I was also responsible for creative and art direction on projects including branding, marketing campaigns, digital projects and video.

After a brief freelancing assignment I was offered a full-time role, eventually becoming Studio Manager / Senior Designer, looking after a small team of Graphic Designers and Web Developers. I brought in a tailored, basic scheduling programme for the studio that was visible
throughout the company. I was also instrumental at introducing the weekly production meetings that were attended by allinternal stakeholders.
I was also the Lead Creative and Art Director on print and web projects. The nature of the business also meant managing accounts for high profile clients as well as being a hands-on Graphic Designer.
