ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

• Hybrid cars emit less emissions then the comparable gasoline car.

• According to Hybrid-car.org, the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius both emit 3.5 tons of carbon a year.

• Also, Hybrid-car.org explains that a typical gasoline car emits on average, 6.7 tons of carbon per year. This figure can range based on the vehicle. For example, a full size pick-up truck could emit close to 10 tons of carbon.

• Hybrid cars still emit carbon but at a lesser rate than regular gasoline cars.

hybrid car can earn up to $3,400 in tax incentives.

• The average price of, as mentioned before, of a Toyota Prius is $26,037.50 and the average cost of a Honda Insight is $20,713.75.

CONCLUDING

• Based on the information provided, we can see that many companies are now in the race to have the best hybrid car. We discussed how much more environmentally friendly a hybrid car is compared to a regular gasoline car and that each hybrid car comes with a tax incentive from the government.
