Film Festival – Thursday 17th November Get your tickets now! A reminder that Digital Media Festival tickets are on sale now! The huge annual event will be held at Callaghan College Jesmond Campus on Thursday 17th November. Come along to see some films made by local primary and high school students, including our very own 5/6C! Tickets are $5 each or $10 for a family of 4 and can be purchased from the students at the front of the 5/6C classroom each morning between 8.30 and 9.00am.

New Classroom Visitors to our school will have noticed temporary fencing near the Michael Street entrance to our school. A new demountable classroom will be going in this location and planned to be operational at the beginning of 2017.

Fete Fun for Everyone Students and staff enjoyed a spectacular mini fete last week, thanks to the efforts of Stage 3 students. The fundraising event, which was held on Thursday afternoon, was a wonderful success. Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 enjoyed a range of fun activities, from dancing and drawing through to face painting and cup-stacking. Some activities were newly introduced this year, including the nerf pong and goo-making, while some old favourites remain as popular as ever (like the ice cream!). One thing all stalls had in common was Year 5 and 6 students working hard to make sure everyone had fun. The final result was a massive profit of $900. Thank you to all children and families who supported this day, including those families who donated items to make the stalls successful.

Last Assembly for 2017 – Monday 21st November As many of our students will be attending Swim School on Friday 18th November, please be aware that our final general assembly will be held on Monday 21st November at 2.15pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
