The academies will deepen teachers understanding of researchbased effective and systematic instructional practices in mathematics that they can use to help students develop problemsolving skills and a strong foundation of number sense and fluency. The academies will be 3 days long. Stipends will be provided to teachers that attend.

Math Academies

• The grades 4 and 5 reading academies will enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills so they can effectively provide reading comprehension instruction to students. 

• The academies will be 3 days long.• Stipends will be provided to teachers that attend.
