MAT & MONIQUEHELLO! Thank you for taking the time to learn about the wonderful family that we aim to provide for your child. It’s a family full of fun, excitement, and most importantly love!! We have always wanted to be parents, but we are not able to have biological children. We know that the best way to grow our family is through adoption and we cannot wait! We believe that open adoption is the best option for a child, and we hope to have an open, lifelong relationship with our child’s birth family. Hopefully, you do to! OUR STORYMonique grew up in Ohio, and Mat grew up in Switzerland before moving to Minnesota. We met in college and now both work as engineers. We married ten years ago and love our life together living on a lake in suburban Saint Paul.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDSWe enjoy doing things with our families like having family dinner, camping, and going to events. When we aren’t with our families, we enjoy hanging out with our friends and their kids while playing with trains, playing outside, and visiting fun places. Everyone is so excited about welcoming another child into the mix!
We cannot wait to welcome a little one into our lives. Our home is a place where a child will feel loved, secure, and connected to family and friends who are like family. We will raise a child that values fam-ily, honesty, and the differences that make us each unique. We want to express our appreciation to you and say, Thank You, for taking the time to get to know us. She plays the viola, guitar & piano. She enjoys hiking & running in the woods.
She loves to read and has started a library for a child.
She loves college basketball.
She worked at camp growing up and has funny songs and silly stories;
she can’t wait to share with a child.
He loves listening to a variety of music from classical to hip hop.
He is an avid photographer and he cannot wait to photograph a child.
He loves running, swimming, biking and playing hockey with Monique.
He loves building things in his wood shop.
Mat says “Monique is the best person I know, always willing to help her friends and family.”
Monique says “Mat is a caring and compassionate person who loves playing with children. You’ll find him on the floor with our friends’ kids playing Legos and building trains.“
