Trace System Configuration Changes (Timeline)

Accurately traces system configuration change history such as virtual machine creation, migration, and automatic recovery (vSphere HA.)

Failure occurred! ! It’s automatically restored, but it is hard to determine the VM status at the time of failure and its impact

You can trace configuration and status before the failure. It’s easy to determine VM’s status at the time of failure, affected machines and operations.

Since this VM was originally stopped at the time of failure, there is no problem to leave it in stopped state.

These three virtual machines restarted on failure.

After restoration of HW, restore the original placement with one click.

Extracting any affected virtual machines from VMware's massive logs is hard work.

Trace System Configuration Changes (Timeline)

Visualizes VM placement and state in the past, allowing restoration of VM placement at arbitrary time.

Timeline shows when and how virtual machines were placed.

Virtual machines on NECCI imported into SSC can be managed on SSC just like other machines.

Creating and deleting machines are not supported.

The service management function issues suspend request and suspend cancel request. You can not directly suspend or cancel suspend from operation from SSC. (When VM is not in use, you have to suspend VM service not to get charged.)

Support for VMware Console Proxy

▌Previously, to allow users to use the VM console, it was necessary for the users’ client terminals to have direct access to ESXi. (involving security concerns)

▌With the new proxy function, users can use the VM console without direct access to ESXi, which improves security.
