Dual Degree Programs

The MBA program at KIMEP University also offers excellent dual degree programs. Under the dual degree programs, students spend one year at each institution. Upon completion, students receive a degree from each institution – General MBA Degree from KIMEP University and a Master degree from a partner university. Students pay tuition fees where they study.

The dual degree program offers a unique and remarkable opportunity for broad and stimulating coursework, and it gives students the chance to conduct thesis work from truly global perspectives. Having two degrees further im-proves employment opportunities.

Currently, KIMEP University has a partnership with IESEG University of France for KIMEP MBA and IESEG Master of International Business (MIB) dual degree. Also, a partnership agreement with City University of London (Cass Business School), UK, for Master of Finance and Accounting and KIMEP MBA dual degree is available.

Master of Business Administration Curriculum

In order to obtain an MBA degree, a student must complete all necessary coursework with an overall GPA of 3.00 (with a maximum of 2 C grades). Specific course requirements for the MBA program are as follows:

Foundation CoursesThere are seven foundation courses that introduce concepts and terminology to students with no prior knowledge of the subject matter as illustrated in the following table:

Admitted students without necessary business education background are required to take the foundation courses at the beginning of the program. For students who have prior relevant certified learning, waivers/transfers of these foundation courses can be given.

An Internship and a Thesis related to the major is required. Students without a major will undertake Internship and Thesis in general business or in any specialization/major area.
