MASTERPLAN FOR BANGALORE CLUB

Expressions of Interest are invited from Architects, Urban Designers and Architecture & Urban Design Firms who are interested in working with the Bangalore Club to develop an inclusive masterplan for the future of the club. Consortium bids are welcome.

EXPRESSIONS OFINTEREST (EoI)

Short-listing of respondents will be based upon the submission requirements. The main focus will be on the capability of the firm / consortium to design and deliver a project of this type as characterised by the pre-qualification criteria.

On receipt of the EoI and other documents, Bangalore Club will shortlist upto 10 firms / consortia to participate in a design process by 10th January 2013.

EVALUATIONCRITERIA

PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

The firm / consortium must have expertise in master •planning (including infrastructure design), landscape design, architectural design, particularly in hospitality and interior design.The consortium must not exceed 5 entities.•Total turnover of the firm / consortium to be over •INR 1.0 Crore in 2011-2012 (certified by an auditor), excluding the turnover of services consultants.The firm / consortium should demonstrate formal •linkages with services consultants like electrical, fire safety, security, sanitation, plumbing, and others relevant to the project in an organogram.

The Expression of Interest (EoI) and other documents should be submitted in the form of a CD and e-mailed in three parts :

Part I covers the details of participation and proof of fulfilling the pre-qualification criteria, and should be submitted in A4 size in PDF format.

Letter stating expression of interest to be a part of •the design process. This must include registration / qualification details of the firm / individuals in the consortium and signed by all consortium members.Awards won in the last 5 years.•An organogram that explains the relationship between •the firm / consortium and services consultants.Proof of fulfilling the turnover criteria through documents •certified by an auditor.

Part II consists of the experience and design profile for pre-qualification and should be submitted in upto four A2 sheets in PDF format.

This should consist of upto 5 photos each, of different •projects, with a 50 word write-up per project, to illustrate capabilities as enumerated in the pre-qualification criteria.

Part III consists of an innovative one minute video with the designers talking about their design intention and philosophy. The video should be in avi / mp4 format.

Part I, II & III (together) must not exceed a size of 15mb.
