Intertech Design Services Inc.

In 1975 Stephen & Natalia Vamosi founded Vamosi Associates as a mechanical, electrical and plumbing

consulting firm specializing in hospitality, retail and medical MEP design. In 1990, Zsolt Vamosi joined

the firm and starting developing the architectural design team at Vamosi Associates. In 1996, Intertech

Design Services, Inc. formed as a result of the changing roles of the firm; the architectural team took a

more prominent role helping our clients expand their brand recognition and footprint.

With over 40 years of successful designs, we have matured into a multi-disciplinary firm. Our focus is to

develop long term relationships with our clientele by providing a comprehensive, coordinated and

accurate design. Every project is treated with the same level of attention and consideration to detail

while maintaining brand standards. Our team is responsive and thoughtful, keeping the client’s vision,

schedule and budget in mind throughout the design and construction process.

Architectural and Interior Design Our capabilities range from complete beginning-to-end projects to specialized services. Our goal

is to weave program, aesthetics, budget and function into reality. Our many options for service

include:

Site Investigation - We examine site conditions, confirm utilities, review lease negotiations,

suggest landlord clarifications and report our findings in a comprehensive report.

Services

Schematic Design – Every project is a unique concept. We work together with you to develop a

design that is functional, cost efficient, and specific to your organization’s image and values.

Interior Design - Material and finish selection is key to making your concept convey the look

and feel you desire while maintaining your brand image.

Construction Documents – The key to good bids and quality construction is accurate and

detailed plans, sections and elevations. Our team of professionals understand that a successful

project hinges on providing the proper documentation.

Bidding/Permitting – The task of bid evaluation and permit approval is a tedious and

painstaking process but yet a critical one. We can help to make this process a positive one for

you by providing continual follow up with the permitting jurisdictions and by thorough review of

Contract Administration – From requests for information to the payment approvals, Intertech

MEP Engineering Over forty years in the engineering practice has given Interior a firm grasp of the various

engineering needs of our clients. Our building systems provide comfortable, functional work

environments through the following services:

Mechanical Design - Heating, ventilation and air conditioning

Electrical Design – Power distribution, instrumentation, controls and lighting design

Plumbing Design – Sanitary and domestic water distribution, natural gas distribution, and

venting design

Acoustical Design – Sound transmission testing, existing conditions evaluations, new design

Construction Management From select construction management to turn-key construction, Intertech can assist you

through this phase where paper becomes a built reality. By becoming your contractor’s single

point of contact, we can help to quickly resolve issues that arise that will keep the design intent

intact as well as the budget.

Bid Anaysis – help reviewing bids and selecting the contractor and vendors that are aware of

the scope of the project.

Requests for Information (RFI) – we will provide timely responses to contractor and vendor

questions, requests for substitutions, etc.

On-Site Observation – we will visit the site at key stages of construction to help resolve any

uncertainties or concerns during construction as well as ensure quality and design intent is being

met
