M.ED. IN SPECIAL EDUCATION (38 OR 43 CREDIT HOURS)

• The Master of Education in Special Education non-licensure track requires completion of the following 38 credit hours: Special Education degree core (35 credit hours) and non-licensure core (3 credit hours).

• The Master of Education in Special Education with licensure requires completion of the following 43 credit hours: Special Education degree core (35 credit hours), and licensure core (8 credit hours).

M.ED. IN SPECIAL EDUCATION - ALTERNATIVE LICENSING EMPHASIS (43 CREDIT HOURS)

• The Master of Education in Special Education Alternative Licensing Emphasis requires completion of the following 43 credit hours: Alternative Licensing Emphasis core (29 credit hours) and Special Education degree core (14 credit hours).

M.ED. IN SPECIAL EDUCATION - GENERALIST ENDORSEMENT (41 CREDIT HOURS)

• The Master of Education in Special Education Generalist Endorsement requires completion of the following 41 credit hours: Special Education Generalist Endorsement core (24 credit hours) and Special Education degree core (17 credit hours).
