M.SC. IN GLOBAL LOGISTICS PROGRAM MISSION
Highly dynamic markets with short product life cy-
cles, increasing competition, and the exploitation of
emerging markets are all major challenges for todays
supply chains and companies across the globe. In
recent years, supply chain management has emerged
as a strategic function. However, the skilled, well-
educated supply chain leaders of tomorrow are a
scarce resource. The M.Sc. in Global Logistics to
be re-named as Global Logistics and Supply Chain
Mana gement at KLU will help you master major
supply chain challenges. You will learn supply chain
and business analytics skills to enhance your acade-
mic problem-solving competencies and managerial
decision-making abilities. Our international faculty will
equip you with the scientific and practical methods
useful for taking an interdisciplinary, intercultural,
and ethical perspective on supply chain and business
management. We provide you with the tools to be-
come leaders in one of todays most vibrant manage-
ment disciplines with a bright future full of career
opportunities. The international, interactive, and
intercultural environment at KLU offers you practice-
oriented teaching sessions in small classes with ex-
perienced professors.
STUDY LOGISTICS WHERE ITS HAPPENING, IN HAMBURG
COURSE STRUCTURE
Starting in September each year, you can complete
our M.Sc. in Global Logistics program in either 4 se-
mesters (standard track) or 3 semesters (fast track).
The standard track leads to 120 ECTS (European
Credit Transfer System), while the fast track encom-
passes 90 ECTS. On both tracks, the first semester
provides you with a solid foundation and prepares
you for specializing in the semesters that follow. De-
pending on your interests, you can customize your
studies with a variety of elective courses in humani-
tarian, maritime or sustainable logistics, for example.
INTERNSHIP & SEMESTER ABROAD
At the end of the second semester, all KLU students
do a summer internship at a company of their choice.
Our Career Development office will help you decide
which industry suits you best and prepare you for
your internship. To complement KLUs international
study environment, students on the standard track
have the opportunity to spend their third semester
at one of KLUs partner universities in Europe, Asia,
Africa, Australia or the Americas.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
A bachelors degree or equivalent from a
recognized university or college. This degree
will usually be in business or economics.*

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Applications can be submitted starting November 15
of year before the year of application. The application
deadline for the program starting in September 2015
is June 30. We recommend that you submit your ap-
plication as early as possible.
TUITION & FUNDING
The tuition for the M.Sc. in Global Logistics
program is 5,500 per semester 11,000 per year.

schule fr Logistik und Unternehmensfhrung (KLU) is
an independent, state-recognized private university based
in the HafenCity district of Hamburg and sponsored by
the non-profit Khne Stiftung foundation. KLU currently
offers a bachelors program in management, masters
programs in management and global logistics, a Ph.D.,
an Executive MBA program, and executive education. The
