Immerse yourself in the

tradition of five French

rural villages… 

You can hear the echo of bells ringing from the

XVI century belfry. It is 11 in a hot summer

Sunday morning and Pélissanne is awake.

Hundreds of people are walking through the

historical center to discover and buy products

like olives, rosé wine or Provencal herbs from

the traditional outdoor market. You know

today’s barbecue will be exceptional. You can

smell it already… 

 After lunch, you can bring your family to visit theChateau de La Barben. The old and warm

stones that make this monument welcome

visitors wishing to relax in a haven of history,

greenery and freshness, saluting people

celebrating a wedding in the castle’s gardens “a

la Francaise.” 

For the sunset, you decide to go visit

Vernegues and enjoy the evening sunlight on

the region, from the highest and more romantic

point of view. You can still hear cicadas in the

“maquis” and feel the last sunbeams on your

skin.

It is now time for dinner and you are heading to

 Auron to find a cozy restaurant next to the

village’s legendary bicentenary plane tree. 

Savoring the Tapenade, you already plan to
