MAS – 3815

Vehicle Attachment System to withstand very high speeds and

harsh driving conditions

PRODUCT

The MAS is offered in various custom di-mensions and shapes; the typical size is 15 inches by 38 inches. The shields are made from Dyneema, a super strong poly-ethylene fiber produced using a patented gel spinning process. This remarkable fiber is up to 15 times stronger than steel and is weight-for-weight 40% stronger than com-peting aramid fibers. Its unidirectional light-weight composite provides superior anti-ballistic protection for both personnel and vehicle protection.

Functionality of the MAS is achieved by the insertion of the armor protective material, Dyneema, into a patented-designed military ballistic grade material creating an outer jacket to encompass the shield. The carrier can be designed to customer specifica-tions. Special magnets allow the secure attachment of the MAS to a vehicle. The durable MAS is manufactured with materi-als that are resistant to temperature ex-tremes and moisture.

Armored Mobility Inc. designs, manufactures and sells a

Mobile Armored Shield (MAS) engineered to be attached to the ex-

terior of a vehicle or carried by an in-dividual on foot as a defense against ballistic threats. The MAS meets NIJ Standard 0108 Level III ballistic re-sistance standards. Weighing only 14 pounds, the MAS-3815 is de-signed for tactical mobility. This ver-satile product floats for use during water rescues. The integrated strap system allows the MAS to become an emergency stretcher. For added flexi-bility and protection, multiple panels can be quickly and easily joined to-gether to form an expanded barrier.
