BAPTISMS 2015 As individuals, we all want to be recognized for who we really are. Jesus had the joy of being recognized by John the Baptist and approved by God as God’s “Beloved Son”. This past week we celebrated the feast of “The Baptism of the Lord,” we acknowledge those whom it has been our parish’s privilege to welcome as children of God through the Sacrament of Baptism. 2015 NATIVITY PAGEANT “What can we give Him young as we are?”
Accompanied by the music of Christmas Carols sung by Cantor and Organist Christopher Gosselin, they chose to offer their very best efforts through pageantry so that our Christmas Eve congregation would be reminded that our children have a deep and abiding love for Jesus. Once again, the parishioners in attendance at the 5:30 PM Mass recognized the old familiar costumes, staffs and sheep as they came down the aisle…. costumes that received renewed life because of the spirit of this new set of youngsters who were willing to join in this tradition of our faith community. Our prayer is that they will continue to abide and grow in God’s Love and Grace. We are grateful to them and to all who shared in the preparations for our Celebration of the Birthday of Jesus.
