The Golden Rule

Any use of social media should be used to build relationships and have genuine conversations.

True connections come from the personal relationships you will build, both online and in person.

Be careful of posting items that are spam, too much information, or too opinionated or political.

Add value, use common sense & be productive.

Delete or hide the comment by hovering to the right of their comment and clicking the “X” that appears.

Remove the user by clicking “See Likes” in the “Get More Likes” box. Hover your mouse to the right of the user’s name and click the “X” that appears.

Security TipsKeep a clean machine by updating the latest security software, web browser, and operating system.

Make passwords long and strong, combining capital and lowercase letters with numbers and symbols.

Separate passwords for every account.

When in doubt, throw it out. Links in email, tweets, posts, and online advertising are often the way cybercriminals compromise your computer.

Post only about others as you have them post about you. (Source: http://www.staysafeonline.org)
