Semester One Reports

The half yearly reports will be sent home with students towards the end of next week.

Teachers have worked very hard to produce these documents in order for them to go

out this term, especially due to the recent disruptions from the COVID19 pandemic. In-

stead of assessing in the A-E scale, the assessments have been make using the Working

Above, Working At and Working Below grade expectations.

Playground upgrade

For the past 18 months, members of staff

have been working towards getting our

playground equipment upgraded. With

funds from our school budget as well as

funds being donated by local businesses

and our State and Federal governments.

We are excited to announce that we have

had our proposal successfully accepted.

Included is an artists impression of the new

equipment. Works are scheduled to begin in Week 4 of Term 3.

responsible by following all teachers instructions.

Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser

On the 3rd of July our school is going to have a

fundraiser to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.

To raise money for Cystic Fibrosis our school will be having a Crazy Hair day

and students are allowed to wear mufti and bring a gold coin donation on

the day.

Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive genetic disease that causes persistent lung

infections and limits the ability to breath over time. Cystic Fibrosis also

affects the digestive system and other organs in the human body. Approxi-

mately 1000 cases of Cystic Fibrosis found each year. Donating to the CF

foundation is a step closer to helping make a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Thanks for your support.

This fundraiser is organised by the SRC members of Marulan Public School.

Lily Ripphausen and Charlotte Cooper.
