On December 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. The Wright brothers had invented the first successful airplane.
1903 would become a year for the history books.That year the Wright brothers, Oliver and Wilbur Wright,would fly the first powered, controlled,heavier-than –air airplane at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17 , 1903.
