Marshfield Center General Surgery General Surgery Residents are physicians who pursue advanced post medical school education in general surgery. They train under the supervision of board certified general surgery physicians to acquire skills in diagnosis, prevention and management of medical and surgical diseases, such that, upon completion of these years of training, they will be certified to provide expert medical care independently.
