Rotation/orbit

• Mars is 40 minuets lower than the earths orbit

• Mars has a rotation speed of 868,22 km/h

• Distance from the sun: 272,900,000 km

Weather

• Mars is farther from the sun than the earth so it is colder. Summer days the temperature could be 20 and drop to -90 degree Celsius at Night. There has been photos taken from that planet and these pictures have shown that a mars was once warmer and wetter planet.

moon

• Mars has two moons named Phobos, Deimos

Exploration of mars

• There has been thought of people living on mars. If earth was ever about to die we could all go to Mars. In order to do that there would have to be people that went over to mars to make mars a good environment for people to live in it.

facts

• The sun appears half the size on mars

• During the winter the air s 20% frozen

• Pieces of mars have fallen to earth
