We are in need of volunteers on December 26th for takedown. Please sign-up for a 2 hour shift. We rely heavily on volunteers and if we don’t get the number of volunteers we need each year then there is a chance that booth fees could be raised. So please help keep costs down for all members and do a 2 hour work task on December 26th. Your efforts are appreciated by all.
Congratulations to our three new Board Members – Tym Mazet, Colleen Bauman and Ritta Dreier. And thank you to all the members who took time to vote. It is the commitment of the membership that keeps this organization running smoothly.

this Wednesday, Dec. 19th. We are open Thursday & Friday from 10am-4pm.
For the final weekend (Dec. 22-24), we will be open in Member Services at Lane Events Center from 9am-7pm on Saturday & Sunday. We will close at 4pm on Monday, December 24th.
Get your Work Tasks Done!If you haven't signed up for a Holiday
Market work task, then there's still time! We need people to sign up for Take
Down. Putting this market together is a big task done over three days. Take down must be done in only one day! Please help out for two hours on Dec. 26th and receive a $25 credit towards your Holiday Market fees. The sign up/sign in sheet is in Mem-ber Services. We issue work task refunds in January.
Important Parking InfoPark your vehicle in the parking lot behind
the building. The front parking lot is for custom-ers. Don't park in assigned handicapped spaces. Don’t leave anything in your car, thefts happen.

Stock Must Be RemovedRemember that all stock must be removed from your booth by 8pm on Sunday night. If you are selling next weekend, your booth structure and furniture may stay.
Annual Holiday Market Debrief MeetingOur annual Holiday Market Debrief meet-ing is on Jan. 30th at 4pm in the office. We will read through the Holiday Market evalu-ations plus make suggestions and notes for Holiday Market 2019. All are welcome!
Holiday Market EvaluationsWe are trying something new this year.
We are handing out evaluation forms every weekend, along with a newsletter, instead of only one per member for the entire show. We are interested in your feedback. The goal is to provide the best Holiday Market experience we can. Please take some time to fill out an evaluation form every weekend. We have a brightly wrapped box in Mem-ber Services for your completed forms. So far, we have received a nice stack of evalua-tions every weekend. We are tabulating the responses for the January Holiday Market debrief meeting.
Keep Calm & Carry OutDuring the frenzy of loading out on Sun-days, please be patient and courteous to your fellow marketers. Don't block loading zones and help others if you can. We all want to get home. Please be kind and polite.
Kareng Fund If you are a self employed Oregon artisan expe-riencing a career threatening crisis, the Kareng Fund is part of your safety net. This weekend you will receive the new Ad Form for the 2019 Saturday Market Guide-book. You can take your payment & com-pleted Ad Form to Member Services to re-serve your space in next year's Guidebook or bring/mail it to the Market Office by February 15th. If you have questions, you can visit the Street Team Blog or reach out to any of the members on the team that are listed on the Ad Form.

Holiday Market Payment Reminder
Remember to pay your Saturday Market Fees!
Your Holiday Market balance is due THIS WEEKEND, Dec. 15th. A $5 late fee will be added per month to any outstanding Holiday Market balance.
Also, make sure you pay for any outstanding Saturday Market fees no later than Dec. 24th. You must pay for all your markets in order to receive your points for next year. This includes Wish List points, Waiting List points, and Holi-day Market points for 2019.
Payments can be made in Member Services or at the office. We are happy to take a credit card payment over the phone during office hours.

credit card transactions to facilitate your sales. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. There are full instruction and Visa slips for your use in the Member Servic-es. Complete the form with your full first and last name, NOT your business name or your boothsitter’s name. In order to assist your cus-tomer in getting back to your booth, we have color coded the slips to match your area of the room. Keep your slips each day to confirm that your check is correct. The checks for this weekend will be available in Member Services on Saturday, December 15th. If you are not sell-ing next weekend, we will mail your checks to the address we have on file for you. Checks will be ready to pick up by Friday, Dec 21st.
