Breast Cancer Awareness Breast Cancer Awareness PromotionPromotionGoal: Coverage in magazines and newspapers for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to promote sales at dealers and our own website. Send a sample of all of the pink items for Breast Cancer Research Foundation to health and human interest editors of 50 magazines and newspapers.Wrap items in a unique package to get attention and get products reviewed.Each carton was wrapped with a pink ribbon and bow and a unique sticker.Coverage was picked up in 2 magazines and 1 newspaper

I Hate Filing ClubI Hate Filing Club

Goal: Transition members from direct mail to an online club.

From1986 to1998 the club had reached 95,000members. Club members were contacted through direct mail twice a year at a cost of $100,00.Changing to an online club would eliminate the expense and enable us to reach the members every month instead of twice a year. This would give us an opportunity to expose new products more often and highlight a product of the month. The change would also eliminate members that were not interested in the information.A special newsletter was created to encourage members to join the club online. 40,000 members transitioned immediately. A special sign up form was created for the local sales reps to use at table tops and seminars. A special raffle was created to encourage them to sign up. The same form was used at consumer trade shows.

Label Bandz PromotionLabel Bandz PromotionGoal: Product demonstration of a new product, My Stuff Label Bandz on local TV station. Garner product awareness and drive sales to our website.

Develop a list of local TV Anchors and Lifestyle ReportersEditorial kit on My Stuff Label Bandz was sent in a unique presentation folder with the label band wrapped around and personalized to 50 local TV stations. Contacts were garnered from the local sales reps in the field. Sales reps were to contact the anchors 2 weeks after mailing

Negotiated with 3 consumer trade shows to do our filing seminar Administrative Professionals Conference- 200 in attendance.National Association of Professional Organizers-150 in attendance. International Association of Administrative Professionals (2 years)-900 in attendance.
