Objective:Assiststaffintakingandpostingphotosthatstandapartonsocialmedia.Increaseclientloyaltyandtotalfollowerswithgreatimagesbrandedforyourbusiness.Takeadvantageofyourteam’ssocialmediaskillswithclearguidelinesonhowtotakegreatactionshots.Content:Picturesreallydospeak1,000wordsandyourbusinessisafantasticsubjectmatter.Letyourteamhelpyouexpandyourphotolibrarywithguidelinesandtipsthatwillensureanappropriaterepresentationofyourbrand.Allyouneedareseveralexamplephotos,ourphotoreviewchecklistandyourspecificbrandguidelinesandyouwillhaveanewteamofphotographersworkingwithyou.Itmayevenincreasethefunfactorofyourdaycare.PriortoLunchnLearnSession
• Printaminimumof2samplephotospersmallgrouporstaffmemberthatwillattend.Youcanselectimagesfromyourphotolibrary,magazines,orsocialmediapostsfromanypetbusiness.Haveafewgoodexamplesplusexampleswithproblemsfromourchecklist.
• Createabrandguidetocomplementoraddtoourexistingchecklist.Bespecificwithlogoversion,howandwheretoinsert,fonttype,sizeandcolor.AlsoindicatewherewebsiteURLshouldbeplaced.Itwouldbegreattoshareexamplesinthebrandguideofhowfinalimagesshouldappear.

• Askstafftosharewhatmakesagoodsocialmediaphotoforyourbusinessfromtheirpointofview.Describea“Do”.Besuretoaffirmgoodsuggestions.Ifyoudisagreewithacommentaskthemtoexplainwhytheyfeelitwouldbeagoodphotopriortoexplainingyourposition.
• Askthemtonextshareideason“Don’ts”;capturegoodsuggestionstoaddtothePhotoReviewChecklist.
• Dividestaffintopairsorsmallgroupsandhavethemreviewsamplephotos.Foreachphototheyshouldlistthe“do’sanddon’ts”observed.
• Askeachteamtosharetheirphotosandtherespectivedo’sanddon’tswiththegroup.RemembertodocumentmoreitemsonthePhotoReviewChecklist.
• Closethesessionbycreatingalistofupcomingeventsorphotoopportunities;includeyourspecificguidelinesontoolstouse(e.g.,personalsmartphoneorbusinessphone/camera)andtimespentasphotographers(i.e.,askforvolunteersinterestedintakingphotosandassignforashiftorweek;clarifythisisinadditiontocurrentresponsibilitiesandsafetyofplaygroupscomefirst.Youcanalsoassignphotoeditorrolesthatcanalsorotatetogetmorestaffinvolvedwiththeproject).
