Inspirational marketing of other films

Shaun Of The Dead inspired us as they were very clever in marketing their film. The reason they inspired us was because they had many ways to market their film. This ranged from trailer teases to toys made of the characters.

Another film that inspired us is ‘I love you, MAN’. The reason this film marketing inspired us is because their poster is very similar to ours as it shows two different men standing next to one another which is very similar to our film as it is about two different peoples lives.

Our ideas

For our marketing we will use the idea from ‘I love you, MAN’ and get Phil and Chris to stand next to one another whilst the title of the film ‘The Contrast’ is at the bottom. Another way we could market our film is by getting the actors to talk about it on the local radio stations. This is an easy and cheep way to market our film.
