Back to an era when life was cooler and music was snappier, this swinging evening of singing, dancing and fantastic fun features four crooners along with an incredible 17-piece, live Big Band. BritBeat is a 'Multimedia Concert Journey Through Beatles Music History' and tells the story of the Beatles from their early days at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, their dynamic debut on the Ed Sullivan Show, the attendance busting concert at Shea Stadium and onward to the psychedelic Sgt. Pepper era and finally the later years of Abbey Road and the White Album. The entire concert plays to the backdrop of immersive and captivating moving multimedia that intertwines with the moods and emotions of the Beatles’ iconic music catalog.

Set in that sassy Miami house in 1985, ‘That Golden Girls Show!’ is one of Off Broadway’s biggest smash hits that parodies classic Golden Girls moments with puppets! Get set for an evening of cheesecake, laughter, jazzercise, shoulder pads, and the elegant art of the quick-witted put down.

The Lafon Performing Arts Center welcomes Ken Waldman & The Secret Visitors for a family-friendly show unlike any ever seen in St. Charles Parish. Ken Waldman has been a full-time touring artist since 1995, o�en performing as Alaska's Fiddling Poet. A�er spending the day working with St. Charles Parish students, he'll stay through the evening where he'll be joined by two ace New Orleans musicians, Dan Wally Baker, a guitarist, bass player, and dancer, and Natalie Mae Palms, a guitarist, banjo player, and singer. Ken Waldman's shows combine toe-tapping Appalachian-style string-band music, original poetry, and Alaska-set storytelling. The Austin Chronicle says Ken Waldman's shows "feel like a Ken Burns movie . . . Always recommended." According to the Denver Post, his shows are "renegade Americana."

Ailey II is universally renowned for merging the spirit and energy of the country’s best young dance talent with the passion and creative vision of today’s most outstanding emerging choreographers. Founded in 1974 as the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, the company embodies his pioneering mission to establish an extended cultural community that provides dance performances, training, and community programs for all people. Under the direction of Sylvia Waters from 1974 to 2012, Ailey II flourished into one of the most popular modern dance companies, combining a rigorous touring schedule with extensive community outreach programs.

Follow the story of a young bird named Max and his family as they begin their journey south for the winter. However, when Max gets blown off course and ends up at the North Pole, the adventure truly begins! Dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms and performing poinsettias light up the stage in Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas. Audiences of all ages will treasure this magical and captivating tale of family, friendship and hope set to timeless holiday hits, including Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey, and Tchaikovsky. Voctave is an 11-member a cappella group from the Central Florida area known for their gorgeous performances of Disney and Broadway hits. Formed in the winter of 2015, the voices that bring their artistic arrangements to life represent a wealth of diverse backgrounds and musical experiences. Group members have professional roots with Walt Disney World entertainment, but their range does not stop there. From gospel music to musical theater, contemporary Christian to barbershop, pop music to choral specialists, Voctave voices have covered it all both in and out of the a cappella realm.
