The Esento Marine 8-12 is a 8-12 zone Marine Approved conventional fire alarm control panel.

Quality, reliability, ease of use and feature rich are attributes that are consistent across the entire range of Haes fire alarm control panels and the Esento Marine 8-12 encompasses all of these attributes to provide the fire alarm engineer’s panel of choice.

For the fire alarm engineer, the Esento Marine 8-12 has been designed to minimise labour costs by providing ample room for tasks such as wiring and changing batteries. Activation is via key switch or access code, which means you should always be able to work on the panel and the one man walk tests will help reduce the cost of maintaining the fire alarm system.

Simplicity is one of the most important aspects when considering the end user of a fire alarm panel. The colour coded buttons and the 3 step silence functionality gives non-technical people the confidence to correctly manage their fire alarm system.

The Esento Marine 8-12 provides a number of important and useful features including 3 different modes to help reduce false alarms, muster alarm and programmable output delays. All inputs and outputs are fully programmable.

As standard, the panels provide four monitored sounder circuits, Fire & Fault VFCO relays, Fire & Fault switched negative outputs, class change and an alert input. The battery compartment also includes a secure battery clamp.

The Esento Marine repeater panel has the same easy to use controls and indications as the main control panel, but mounted in a smaller cabinet.

The repeaters are fully functional with ‘Silence’, ‘Resound’ and ‘Reset’ controls, as well as Disable and Test Mode functions. Conventional

TPCA05 - Network Comms Card

The comms card simply plugs in on top of the main circuit board of the control panel to allow up to 8 control panels to be networked. In addition to the control panels up to 8 repeater panels or remote display units can also be added to the network.

The Haes comms card (TPCA05) allows up to eight XLEN or XL32 control panels to be networked. Any combination of panel can be used from a 2 zone to a 32 zone and in any order to provide up to 256 conventional or Twin Wire zones. The card simply plugs in on top of the main circuit board in the control panel.

In addition to the eight control panels up to eight repeater panels or remote display units can also be added to the network. The remote display units are supplied with a 4 x 40 character backlit LCD and will display all system fires and faults as well as controlling Silence & Reset and other functions for the entire network, see XL-RDU page.

The networking has been designed to be wired in a fault tolerant (fail safe) loop configuration, from comms A to B and back to the main panel again. If replacing an older system where the existing cabling cannot be configured in a loop as above, it is possible to re-programme the master panel back to legacy RS485 circuit comms monitoring. This then allows any topology of comms cabling to be utilised.

The cards are also provided with six programmable switch negative outputs which can be utilised for any local switching requirements.

SNDEXT-4 - 4 Way Monitored Sounder Circuit Extension Card

SNDEXT-4 has been designed to provide a sounder circuit extension solution. The card has 4 monitored and fused sounder cicuits.

There are switched negative inputs to trigger all circuits (common) or each circuit individually, a relay is also provided for remote fault monitoring. The fault relay will operate for all faults including loss of 24v supply input.

The card is driven from an existing sounder circuit in the control panel. A permanent 28v supply is required. If used with a Haes Excel-EN control panel, this supply can be taken from the 28v output on the main circuit board.

Each circuit is fused at 0.75 amp via self healing fuses and requires a 4K7 end of line monitoring resistor (provided).

Voyage Data Recorder Output Card

The Esento Marine VDR (Voyage Data Recorder) output card is a plug in communications card for the Haes Esento Marine range of fire alarm control panels for connection to a ships Voyage Data Recorder.

The VDR card provides activity data from the fire control panels which is in accordance with IEC 61162-1 Ed.3 Maritime navigation and radio communication equipment and systems, digital Interfaces, NMEA 0183 Standards for interfacing marine electronic devices.

A Conventional Photoelectric Smoke Detector which is fully compatible with the majority of existing Conventional systems. The SOC-E3NM incorporates Hochiki’s unique High Performance photoelectric smoke chamber, removing the need to use Ionisation Detectors in the majority of applications.

Installation time and ultimately cost, are of paramount importance to any fire or security installer. The MCP range directly reflects this need by providing a unique ‘plug and play’ concept designed specifically to reduce installation time. All new MCP products utilise a special terminal block, where all initial installation cabling is terminated.

This terminal block is then simply connected to the back of the MCP. Simple, but effective, with no re-termination required and no time wasted.

Through new standards and legislation, both break glass and resettable operating elements can now be used within a manual call point. To provide you with the greatest ‘flex-ability’, the new MCP range can be configured as either a break glass or resettable unit by simply changing from one element to another.

No other additional parts or alternative products need to be ordered.

All MCP indoor call point products also help preserve the integrity of the overall system as illegal removal of the product lid will result in the call point operating and the system going into alarm.

The plug and play design facilitates first fix capability and provides an easy to install solution of the highest quality and reliability – protecting building occupants from fire threats.

Installation efficiency, flexibility and full compliance with the latest standards are at the heart of the new WCP Outdoor Call Point range.

The outdoor WCP is an IP67 sealed manual call point product. The enhanced environmental protection allows the unit to be installed in many external environments where water and dirt are likely to be present, making it a true waterproof and outdoor product.

Installation time and ultimately cost, are of paramount importance to any fire or security installer. The WCP range directly reflects this need by providing a unique ‘plug and play’ concept designed specifically to reduce installation time. All new WCP products utilise a special terminal block, where all initial installation cabling is terminated. This terminal block is then simply connected to the back of the WCP. Simple, but effective with no re-termination required and no time wasted. In addition, all WCP products are supplied with three standard 20mm threaded cable entries, accommodating all types of surface wiring installations.

Through new standards and legislation, both break glass and re-settable operating elements can now be used within a manual call point. To provide you with the greatest ‘flex-ability’, the new WCP range can be configured as either a break glass or re-settable unit by simply changing from one element to another. No other additional parts or alternative products need to be ordered.

All WCP Outdoor Call Point products also help preserve the integrity of the overall system as illegal removal of the product lid will result in the call point operating and the system going in to alarm.

Full compliance with the latest standards is essential and the new WCP indoor call point range is fully approved to the latest EN54-11 standard. (Compliant markings only).

The WCP1A product version is supplied with both a resistor and normally open clean contact electrical options. These options are easily utilised by simply connecting the terminal block to the required connection in theback of the WCP1 product.

The IP67 Sealed WCP1 is designed for standard conventional 24V fire alarm panels, enabling fast and effective evacuation in the event of a fire in waterproof environments.The waterproof range is IP67 sealed for use in environments where protection against water ingress is required. The WCP1 variant is supplied with a preconfigured internal resistor and clean contact electrical options.
