Packaging Rule Change
▪ Effective as of August 23, 2016, an edible, topical, or tincture that contains less than 15 mg of THC in the entire container can be packaged in a single-serving child-resistant package.
– The package must still be certified as child-resistant by a third-party testing firm.
▪ Also, effective as of August 23, 2016, all concentrates and extracts must be packaged in a re-sealable, continually child-resistant package.
