MARIJUANA: WEEDING OUT AMERICA’S GREATEST INFLUENCE

…“Marijuana has proven to show positive effects, we have to consider the risks

factors through regulation, health, and addiction. Although, Marijuana has

negatively influenced younger generations, it is all around us, and therefore should be

legalized in order to take the next step forward.”

WHAT IS MARIJUANA?

Marijuana is a green, brown, or gray mixture of dried, shredded leaves, stems,

seeds, and flowers of the hemp plant.

If not erased entirely, taxation would help the nation’s debt

Jobs would be readily available

More money saved as a nation by closing prohibition enforcement agencies

We spend $10 billion a year to enforce prohibition!

Lastly, this would allow law enforcement to pursue real and BIGGER crimes such as murder

Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) estimated that 97.5 million Americans older than 12 have tried marijuana at least once in their lifetime, meaning about 41 percent of the population has tried marijuana (One in ten people!)
