My Story
Hi my name is Maria Paula last Summer I went with my family to learn how to do snowboarding. This trip had has been one of the best trips in my life. I enjoyed a lot I really recommended. I went to many mountains to learn how to do snowboarding. The first time I did it I fell a lot of times but it was really fun. With my family we chose which mountains we wanted to go. In this trip we chose many types of mountains that had different slopes. In my opinion I liked the negative slopes because I don’t feel that I am going to fall.
My first Mountain
This mountain was located in SZYMOZKOWAS was very difficult for my because it was the first time I did snowboarding. I practiced a lot. I choose this mountain because I wanted to try to do a positive slope before a negative. It was a very easy mountain to start snow boarding. This mountain had an elevation of: 261,00mIts inclination was 20,22 % The slope was1322,17m
My second Mountain
This mountain is the second one I did with my family I fell a lot of times and one hurt a lot. This mountain is located in Alta, Utah for me this is also a really good place to go for a vacation. This mountain was a little bit more difficult than the first one because their was a lot of people and rocks. I chose this mountain because my grandparents that came last Christmas and they had a really good time.
Its Slope is positive 2,020ftThe summit is: 10,550
My third Mountain
This mountain was one of my favorites. I made a pretty good job I had practice a lot so this was really easy. This mountain is located in Squaw Valley, California this mountain has been the best trip I have ever went to. I choose this one because I heard about that this one, one of the best mountain to do snowboarding! In this mountain I chose to do a negative slope. I feel more comfortable in negative slopes . Negative slopes are not so high than positive. The Summit is 8,050mThe Slope in this mountain2758m
My Fourth Mountain
This mountain wasn´t so good at all. It was located in Wilmington, New York in the White Face Mountain. This was a positive slope it my brother had accident that´s why it wasn´t so good I choose it because it was a positive. This mountain remind me to be always careful. The negative are much better in this mountain I realize that. Its Elevation was 4667Its slope was: 3,430 feet
My last mountain
This was the last time I did snow boarding. I had really good time with my family. I will always remember this trip it was amazing! I shose this mountain because I wanted to visit Utah again. This mountain is located in Deer Valley in Park City Utah. I chose to do snow boarding in a negative slope this slope is different to a positive because a positive goes up t the right sometimes this slope are more difficult. I felt really bad that I was going to return to Guatemala. I didn’t wanted to return to school! It had a summit of: 9,570 feetIt Slope measure was:3.000 feet
