The Margdarshan National Youth Parliament aims to build a
nifty insight in the young minds for the legislation procedure
of the country.
They act as the ‘elected ones’ of the democracy and their
innovative ideas can bring about a galactic change in the
actual working the Parliament.
The Margdarshan National Youth Parliament strives its best to
bring the finest of the Moderators from all over the country
and make this a nationally acknowledged platform where the
meticulous students from nationwide can come and while
contributing to the political know how of the country , they
can enhance their public speaking skill, learn how to lobby
and other abundant skills that will help them in the future.
Youth Parliaments : Concepts
Youth Parliament is an academic simulation of different national
committees of Legislature and Executive. Students here act under
the portfolio of different Members of Parliament, Governments
officials, Stakeholders and different executive officials. It is a
place where young minds get a chance to learn the art of policy
drafting, learn diplomacy and professionalism and where law
involves and evolves.
It is a platform for the youth to speak up; making an impact on the
agenda that can change the future of the country. To formulate
policies, it helps the students to learn the art of policy making and
mobilizing public opinion. The platform inspires the youth to
express their views in an organized way, making them eloquent
speakers and instilling leadership qualities in them.
The students are trained in the technique of parliamentary
discussion arriving at a conclusion after the same. It helps in
developing respect and tolerance for the views of others. The
students get a deep understanding about the various problems
faced by our society and the country and contemplate ways to
solve it or strive towards making it upright. With this competition,
the students also imbibe discussion behaviors and respect for the
rules essential for conducting it systematically and efficiently.
ALLAHABAD UNIVERSITY
Margdarshan National Youth Parliament in affiliation with
Allahabad University (being in inter-cultural, prospective,
futuristic, courses being in Diversity of Knowledge doesn't
procure words to describe it)
The ancient city of Allahabad has traditionally been a site of
intercultural and interreligious dialogue and discourses peace.
Continuing this tradition, the Allahabad University has taken
the lead in institutionalizing an interdisciplinary centre of
peace research and conflict resolution. Deriving its name from
the illustrious founder of the university, Its origins lie in the
Muir central college, named after LT. Governor of North -
western provinces Sir William Muir in 1876, who suggested
the Idea of a central University at Allahabad, which later
evolved to the present university.
University of Allahabad globally as a hub of scholarly and
practical activities concerning varied dimensions of conflict
analysis and sustainable peace.
MARGDARSHAN
MARGDARSHAN, a circuit of efficient professionals, is
committed to train young men and women of the country. The
Mission of MARGDARSHAN is to create a pool of efficient
managers and potential leaders so as to make them the
ambassadors of our nation. MARGDARSHAN believes in
creating opportunities for young and fertile minds to
conceptualize placing themselves in the middle of environs of
National and International Forums, astonishingly similar to
their originals, where they stand up and speak out. An event’s
effectiveness is measured by the kind of ideas that are
produced expressly and those that emerge, as one reads
between the lines. An excellent simulation also has its
spontaneous effect, making the youth feel responsible, and
immersing them in the problems of poor people across the
nation and the globe, turning them into true professionals.
MARGDARSHAN is a Registered Trust with the ‘Idea of
Parallel Education system’ aimed at bringing a positive
change in the society through the involvement of Youth
through different academic simulations.
Benefits to Students and Institutions
Youth parliaments apart from giving a platform to the youth to voice out their opinions, recognizes intellect amongst the young minds. These simulations also benefit the students in the following ways: Benefits to the students

over India
• Training students to become responsible youth of this country
• Inculcating good reading, learning and debating habit amongst
students
• Teaching them diplomatic behavior, to generate sense of
responsibility and a development of a thought process.

step to become better professionals in future.
• Developing a concern, getting nationwide exposure of different
forums and minds, inculcating better manners, dressing habits,
language command and learning a way to present themselves etc.

TEAM MNYP
Team MNYP is a group of enthusiastic scholars from The
Allahabad University and University of Petroleum & Energy
Studies who want to bring about a gradient in the mindset of
the students of Allahabad as well as nationwide for the know
how of the political upbringing of the country. Margdarshan
National Youth Parliament and the Team MNYP want to
ensure maximum youth to have the sapient knowledge about
the political processes in the country.
The Organising Committee of Margdarshan National Youth
Parliament is a mix and match of several multifaceted
profiles. Some are educate of literature, some of economics.
Some are enticed totally towards entrepreneurship and for
some figures that go in the sky directions are fulfilling. We
also have scholars learning peace, so here we have a whole
package of handlers who are looking forward for a great
debatable weekend.
COMMITTEES LOK SABHA
The Lok Sabha (House of the People) is the lower house of
India's Bicameral-Parliament. The Lok Sabha is a microcosm
of the society as the members represent the people. Members
of the Lok Sabha are elected by the Universal Adult Suffrage
and a first-past-the-post system to represent their respective
constituencies. The maximum strength of the House
envisaged by the Constitution is 552.
The Lok Sabha simulated as a part of the Margdarshan
National Youth Parliament shall consist of around 100
Parliamentarians.
Agenda - Women safety and Empowerment
All India Political Parties Meet
All India Political Parties Meet is a consensus building body
where representatives of all political parties are invited to
have a discussion and debate on a bill, agendas of public
importance or any other policy or matter which is to be
brought in parliament so that a common opinion is
established.
The AIPPM committee simulated at the Margdarshan
National Youth Parliament shall have around 50 delegates
from all across the country.
Agenda - Reviewing the procedures for the appointment of
constitutional and non constitutional Bodies
RAJYA SABHA (Council of State)
The Rajya Sabha or council of states is the upper house of the
parliament of India. Membership of Rajya Sabha is limited by
the constitution to maximum of 250 members, and current
laws have provision for 245 members . Most of the members
of house are indirectly elected by state and territorial
legislatures using single transferable votes, while the
President can appoint 12 members for their contribution to art,
literature ,science, and social services. Members sit for
staggered six-year terms, with one third of the members
retiring every two years.

There is no minimum or maximum age limit or limit of delegates for a
particular delegation, we aim to involve good delegates irrespective of their age.

stay at hotel for 3 days; from 27th noon to 30th noon along with breakfast on all
the days.
Individual delegate fee + Luxury Accommodation :- ₹2100 .This includes
stay at a VASIST hotel for 3 days i.e. from 27th noon to 30th noon,
encompassing breakfast for all the days and dinner for 2 days of the conference

facility which will ferry them to-and-fro from the conference venue and the
hotel.
