Margaret Thatcher, the "Iron Lady"

Margaret was the second daughter of a pious father, Alfred, and moonlighting as a seamstress mother, Beatrice. From early infancy Margaret was adored by his father, who was trying to realize their own ambitions, realizing them in their talented daughter.

Margaret was a serious and lonely child. She never went to the cinema or a dance, because it is a luxury not welcomed in the household Roberts, in accordance with the dogmatic religious beliefs of her father.

She graduated from Oxford University in 1950. It was the first woman President of the University Association of the Conservative Party. In 1951 she married businessman Denis Thatcher.

Since 2002, Margaret Thatcher's health condition has deteriorated significantly. It ceased to participate in public events and walked away from the public and political activities.
