ThisyeartheeventincludedbilateralworkshopswithEuropeanCommission,Sweden,USAandFrance.SpecialworkshopsonBlockchainforUtilitiesattractedinterestfromlargenumberofstakeholders.FulldayparallelsessionswereconductedonSmartCityGasDistributionandSmartWater.Theparticipantsof theeventalsogot theopportunity toattend the technical tour toTataPowerDelhiDistributionLimited (TPDDL),NorthernRegionLoadDispatchCentre(NRLDC);andtherecentlycommissionedSmartGridPilotProjectatUHBVN,PanipatwithsupportfromNEDO,Japan.
Duringtheconference,MoUsweresignedbetweenISGFandThinkSmartGrids–Franceforcollaboration;USTDAandTataPowerDelhiDistributionLimited(TPDDL)fortheBusinessCaseforDistributedEnergyResourcesinIndiaPhase2TechnicalAssistance.PEERSystembyGBCI/USGBCwaslaunchedduringtheceremonyandspecialannouncementwasmadebyUSTDAforBehavioralEnergyEfficiencyProgramwithBSESRajdhaniPowerLimited(BRPL)andOracleUtilities;EnergyStorageRoadmapProjectbyISGF,IESAandMacArthurFoundationwasalsoannounced.AnotherspecialannouncementwasonthecollaborationbetweenTPDDL,SAPandChoice,BrazilforthelaunchofanewsolutioninIndiaforpreventionoftheftofelectricity.

Government to Amend Solar Energy Bidding Rule
