scheme called “Rupashree”."Rupashree" scheme aimed at providing an amount of

Rs 25000 marriage assistance to girls coming from economically weaker families

whose family income is uoto Rs 1.5 lakh.

The corporation announced that the construction work on its long-pending

The Centre has withdrawn Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) totally

from Meghalaya.

The revised incentive under the militant surrender-and-rehabilitation policy

Gujarati poet, playwright and academic Sitanshu Yashaschandra was selected

for 2017 Saraswati Samman for his collection of verses (poetry) titled “Vakhar”

published in 2009.
