A trilogy of surprises: March, April and May — especially in Texas. We

all become Irish and green in March, play hide and seek with multicolored

eggs in April; and in May, we celebrate the “mothers” that bore or chose us

and helped to guide us through our lives.

Here in South Central Texas, Ground Hog’s Day doesn't hold much

sway. Nature lives according to its own calendar. Take a moment to look at

our front and back gardens. Some of the flowers are already beginning to

bloom and we are attracting butterflies, bees and birds. If you’d like to help

dig in the dirt, please come by the office to let us know. We will schedule you

in.

Spring is a time to renew, refresh and revitalize our hearts and minds.

Take a deep breath and “let be.” Take a moment to perceive something new

around you, and open your life up to the beauty and excitement of the

unknown.

Our beautiful community kitty, Lili, says “Thank

you” for her shots and flea medication. She thinks

20 YrsFor the last 20 years, Janie has served

in the kitchen, cleaned apartments, and

has been a care-giver. She works in the

office and overnights all with a kind

heart and a smile on her face. When

you see her this month, give her a hug

and thank her for all she does for us.
