Dog FriendlyWe love welcoming all our 4 legged friends with bowls of water and Boogie biscuits. All we ask is that dogs stay on leads, off the furniture and out of the dining room. When we can we even make ti me for a quick cuddle or scratch behind the ear!

Monday 21 March, 8pmWhat a start to 2016! We’ve hosted dinner parti es, christening’s, surprise birthdays (with a belly dancer!) and host your own roasts for those big family gatherings. With dates booking up fast if you have a special date in mind come along to our open evening so you can see how we can make your event special.

St George’s Day

Saturday 23 AprilApril 23rd is St George’s Day it being a Saturday we will be celebrati ng in style with a set Briti sh menu all washed down with a Great Briti sh pint or 2!

The menu will include some true classics encouraging us all to celebrate some Great Briti sh food starti ng with Minted Pea Soup, The Chefs take on Pie, Mash and Liquor followed by our seriously good treacle tart.

Mothering Sunday Sunday 6 MarchWhere bett er to spend Mother’s Day than with the family over a classic Spring-ti me Sunday roast? We will be off ering a set two or three course menu featuring all the classics from £22.50 per person. This is always a hugely popular day so book now and make sure your mum feels loved up!

Easter is a time for happy family gatherings and obscene chocolate consumption We are ready on both counts!Enjoy the long Easter weekend, by feasti ng on some fantasti c Easter treats, hunti ng down eggs in our beauti ful garden and spending ti me with the family. The Garden re-open’s on Good Friday with the wood-fi red oven fi ring up for the fi rst ti me this year to cook our wood-fi red pizzas and slow roast the spring lamb.

Sunday 27-Monday 28 March from 1pmEaster Weekend wouldn’t be the same without our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Remember to bring your buckets with you there are lot and lots of eggs to fi nd!

We are counting down to Spring, with deckchairs, Pimm’s and the best wood-fi red pizzas waiting for you.

Steak and Wine ThursdayPick your steak from the grill with your choice of sauce and sides from £12 from 6pm. If that’s not enough to tempt you out when you buy 2 large glasses of house wine the rest of the bottle is free!

SaturdayWe open for brunch at 10.30am, with a lighter lunch and junior menu for children served from 12noon through to 6pm. With Saturday night being a much more grown up affair for dinner with some fantastic specials to complement our full menu served through to 10pm.

SundayIs all about the roast served from 12-8pm with a choice of meats, as well as a vegetarian option, alongside roasties, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and lots of gravy. While the Chefs take care of the cooking, all that’s left for you to do is order your favourite drink and indulge in a thoroughly lazy afternoon – booking is always advisable with our largest table on a Sunday being for 8 people.

Supper Club WednesdayTo tempt you all out mid week The Sun Supper Club offers you a great menu where our Chefs get to try out new dishes. Join us from 6pm every Wednesday with two courses for £15 or three courses for £18 and of course all your pub classics

Tuesday Quiz Night 8.00pmBeer wine and glory to be won, free to enter, no minimum or maximum in a team, eight light hearted rounds – pictures, entertainment, riddles, you choose the round and the wipeout – with a weekly top prize of a £100 bar tab or could it be one of Cal’s forfeit’s? – not forgetting a prize for the wooden spooner’s!

Meat-free MondayAfter a busy weekend why don’t you treat yourself to a healthy start to the week with our Meat Free Monday Dinner Menu with all our pub classics also available at just £10.
