Spring Fling $uccess!

Thank you to all who attended and supported this year’s PTO Spring Fling. Because of your generosity – and countless hours of work by the Spring Fling Committee – we raised just over

$8000 for the PTO! This allows us to continue to enhance the learning opportunities for

our District 3 students...and for that we are extremely grateful! A very special thank you to our Spring Fling Committee: Jenny Bolf, Camille Clemons, Ann Jadown and Kelly Mattran. We are also very grateful to you and your fantastic efforts to make the 2014 Spring Fling such a great success!

Orders due: March 15 by 11 p.m.

Pick up: Wed., March 19, 4-5 p.m. @ ARS

**All orders must be picked up by 5 p.m.**

We always need people to help pack orders! We would appreciate any amount of time you can give! The more helpers we have, the faster it goes! We sort and pack from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at ARS.

For a limited time this month, we will be participating in a March desserts fundraiser with Market Day. Our goal this year is to sell 100 desserts for 30% profit on each order. If every family purchases just one dessert, we will succeed! Best of all, the funds raised will pay for a “Buddy Bench” in the ARS school park. The buddy bench was started by a second grader in Pennsylvania who wanted to help kids who felt bored or lonely and needed a friend. We think this would be a really nice addition to the school park and the kids would be thrilled since they have sent written requests to Mrs. Ozimek asking for a buddy bench since reading about it in Scholastic.

Think about all your spring celebrations—Easter, Mother’s Day, First Communion, graduation— that’ll be even sweeter with dessert! Please feel free to share order information with family, friends and co-workers! The more we sell, the more our schools benefit! Students who sell at least one dessert will receive a participation prize. Students who sell 10 desserts will receive a 5 item prize pack! Bigger prizes for top sellers! Yummy Asian Bistro Fundraiser on March 19 and March 20. 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. A percentage of all proceeds will be donated to our PTO! http://www.yummyyummyasian.com/ Our most recent KIAGA (www.kiaga.com) open gym night brought in $200 for our PTO! Our next open gym fundraising night is Saturday, March 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The cost is $10 per child and KIAGA will once again donate 50% back to our PTO!

Start ordering online April 25 - no minimum order.

Pay by debit/credit card or electronic check, which allows you to use checking or savings account.

Order late into the summer and have it shipped to your home. ARS must place order 3 weeks before

start of school to receive in time. Middle School must place order 3 weeks before locker check day

(tentatively the week before school starts).

Free Shipping on orders over $50. ($5.99 for shipping under $50).

Customize your list - parents have the ability to add or remove items they already have from class

supply list.

At checkout there will be an option to donate $1, $5, $10 or $20. The funds will go directly towards

the Fox River Grove Needy Families’ school kits.

Paper flyers will be sent home prior to when ordering starts in April. Email reminders will be sent

during the summer.
