Frailey Insurance and Financial Services yard sale benefits Joey’s Eagles. Giving back to the community and helping neighbors is part of the Frailey Insurance and Fi-nancial Services’ mission. On May 19th 9:00 am to 3:00 pm the team at Frailey’s will host its third yard sale/flea mar-ket. The event is being coordinated by the team, primarily Peggie Livingston, office manager, and Sandy Haley, per-sonal lines account manager, and will be held at their of-fice on North 9th Street, Stroudsburg. New & used items and crafts will be available for sale. A tricky tray will also be offered. Vendors are needed. 10’x10’ space for $15 and 2 spaces for $25. Vendors must supply their own tables. The proceeds from the tricky tray and spaces will benefit Joey’s Eagles. Since 1996, Joey’s Eagles has been providing support to children and young adults diagnosed with cancer and other serious illnesses and disabilities. They are a sanctu-ary of support for all parents and give them the opportu-nity to meet other parents dealing with the life altering challenges their child’s illness brings to a family. They bring comfort, hope and financial assistance to families facing difficult times. This is the third yard sale being held at the Frailey Agency. The first event was held September 2010, raising funds for AWSOM and the second was held in May 2011 to benefit Family Promise of Monroe County. “Some of us enjoy yard sales, so we thought it might be fun to host one for a good cause. As a team we decide on which non-profit to support, choose a date, set up spaces, and hope for good weather. So far we’ve been very lucky,” says Livingston. Michael J. Frailey, a registered representative of Nation-wide Securities, LLC, encourages his team to continue their community service events. “As a community-minded business, we’re always looking for ways to give back. It is people helping people,” states Frailey. If you would like to be a vendor for this year’s event, you may contact Peggie at [email protected] or 570 421-7447. Realtor Juan C. The most common symptoms of brain disease are seizures, which can generally be classified in two categories, focal (partial) seizures, which occur on a single side of the brain; and generalized, which is the result of abnormal activity on both sides of the brain. Common brain disorders include Alzheimer’s disease, which affects an estimated 5 million Americans, as well as brain cancer, epilepsy and stroke, among others. While many brain disorders are treatable through physical therapy, medication or surgery, they re-main incurable. For more information on Avoid a Brain Wreck, please visit PoconoHealthSystem.org.
