Downloading reports How can I view fishing activity in or around MPAs, EEZs, RFMOs or High Seas Pockets? How can I download fishing activity reports for these areas? In the toolbox, select ‘Layers,’ then ‘Static Layers.’ Under ‘Static Layers,’ there are several boundary layers for you to select from. If you do not see what you are looking for, there are additional static layers under ‘Add Layers.’ First, you must be logged into your Global Fishing Watch account to create a report of fishing activity. In the map toolbox, open the ‘Layers’ tab, then on ‘Static Layers.’ 1. Click the report icon (closest icon to the layer name) for the layer you are interested in observing (EEZ,or RFMO). The report icon will turn white when selected. 2. Click within the area you are interested in (e.g. within the EEZ or RFMO). 3. A pop-up box will appear with the name of the area you have selected. Click “Add to report.” 4. You may select multiple regions. 5. Select the frequency at which you would like to receive reports for the area. 6. In the toolbox, click Send Report. 7. The report will be emailed to you as an attached file in a few minutes. 1. Click on ‘Layers.’ 2. Click on ‘Activity Layers.’ 3. Activate fishing effort. 4. Click on ‘Static Layers.’ 5. Activate ‘EEZs.’ 6. Click on the report icon next to ‘EEZs.’ 7. Click on the Japanese EEZ. 8. Click ‘Add to report.’ 9. Click on the South Korean EEZ. 10.Click ‘Add to report.’ 11.Click ‘Request report.’ 12.Select a one-time report and submit. The report will be emailed to the address associated with your account. How can I view fishing activity in or around MPAs, EEZs, RFMOs or High Seas Pockets?

How can I download fishing activity reports for these areas?

In the toolbox, select ‘Layers,’ then ‘Static Layers.’ Under ‘Static Layers,’ there are several boundary layers for you to select from.
