Minor crops with huge values:Botanical raw materials & drugs, herbs, herbal products, non-timber forest products, high value minor crops are the other names of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (MAPs) and their products. These names express the vital roles of MAPs for the population health and industries of countries from over the worlds.

There are impressive numbers: WHO concludes 6,3 billion people rely mainly on plant-based medicines in 2014, and globally the trade of plant-based drugs reach dozens of billions USD. This value is exclusive of other application of the plants in food, cuisines, cosmetics, spa, and other consumer healthcare products.

MAPs play an important role across continents all over the globe. Among thousands of plant species with medical application, some famous plants are Panax Sp. (Ginseng), Cinnamomum Camphora from Asia, Prunus Africana, Rooibos from Africa, Pimenta Longa, Tagetes Minuta (muster John Henry), Mauritia Flexuosa (moriche palm) from Latin America.

Participation rates*

For exhibitors: • The price per square meter excluding

stand assembly is € 150,-. • The price per square meter including

stand assembly is € 200,-. Stand assembly consists of stand walls, frieze strips with company name, pillars, carpeting, lightning and electrical connection (3000w).

• The price per service package is € 450,-. One package consists of Table & 4 chairs, 1 counter, 1 rack for documentation, 1 palm, 1 frieze strip writing (1 company name) and stand cleaning.

• Minimum stand size is 6 square meter (3x2). • Early bird exhibitors who reserve a stand area

before October 2016 will receive the 10% discount on their participation fee.

Sponsorship: The sponsors can select different sponsorship packages to the MAP EXPO 2017. We develop 3 stages of sponsorship with diverse benefits, thus interesting for different group.

Program highlight: Pain Treatment Conference“Treat the pain” is the topic of the scientific-economic congress during the MAP EXPO 2017. Realization of the congress is the joint effort of cross-country institutes, associations and enterprises. Participants will be provided with traditional approaches on releasing the pain and their transition into modern life through plant-based products. Scientists & businesses who need to exchange knowledge and conclude offers for Western markets will find this forum as the place-to-be.
