SATELEC's Suprasson P5 BOOSTER is an ultrasonicgenerator for the main dental applications :scaling and endodontic treatment.

The Suprasson P5 BOOSTER is comprised of thefollowing elements : 1 green flexible tube (2 m long) with integral

particle filter for connection onto the mainswater supply.

1 mains power cable with functional earthterminal (according to model).

1 handpiece cord. 1 single footswitch with cord.

Accessories supplied with the device: Box of instruments for clinical applications

(according to model). Tip Card.

1. 2 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

1. 3 INSTALLATION

a) RecommendationsThe use of the Suprasson P5 BOOSTER is restrictedto competent and qualified practitioners (dentalsurgeons, hygienists).Note: before using for the first time, clean,decontaminate and sterilize the accessories.Before using the unit for the first time you arerecommended to plug in the accessories andoperate the spray for several minutes in order torinse the equipment's internal water circuits.Check that the equipment is correctly plugged inand insulated; the mains plug with earth pin mustbe used.

The user must check the accessories and cordsregularly for insulation faults and replace them ifnecessary.Do not use the equipment if it appears to befaulty.If the equipment develops a fault you arerecommended to contact the supplier of yourSuprasson P5 BOOSTER rather than using a non-specialist repairer.

b) ConnectionsThe electrical connexion must conform to currentnorms.

mains water supply. The mains power cable should be plugged into

a earthed power supply (according to country).

c) Commissioning and useConnecting the Suprasson handpiece.Connecting the handpiece to the cable connectoris by a simple push fit. Do not twist.

Mounting and using the tipsTo obtain adequate vibration of a tip it must becorrectly tightened and not forced beyond itsstop. To avoid it becoming locked, the tip shouldbe removed after each use (Fig. 3).See the TipBook for the power settings forSATELEC tips.

d) WARNINGIt is essential to turn off the water supplybefore leaving the dental surgery.

II - MAINTENANCE ANDSTERILIZATION

The following instructions for maintenanceand/or sterilization must be carried out beforefirst using the handpiece or the tips and filessupplied with the device.Avoid using cleaning and disinfectant agentscontaining inflammable components. If used,ensure that the agent has evaporated and thatthere is no trace of inflammable substances onthe equipment and its accessories before usingthem.

2. 1 MAINTENANCE OF THE SUPRASSONHANDPIECE

Warning: the water circuits for the completeSuprasson handpiece and tip should be rinsedwith water for 20 to 30 secs after each use.

2. 2 FILES MAINTENANCE

a) When is a tip no longer usable?The shape and mass of a tip are the determiningfactors in obtaining maximum effect from theultrasound generator. Vigilance on the part of theuser regarding these two characteristics willenable optimum performance of the device to bemaintained.It is consequently strongly advised not to alterthe structure of tips by filing or twisting them.Also, ageing of a tip due to normal wear leads toa change in its properties.

Always be sure to replace tips subject todeterioration due to wear or accidental impact(fall, etc.).

b) Sterilization of tipsTips should be cleaned before sterilizationusing a cotton swab and alcohol, wipes or byimmersion in an ultrasonic bath. Tips can be sterilized by any conventional heatmethod.Conditions and sterilization cycles aredetermined by the equipment:Equipment: autoclave.Wet heat sterilization - unwrapped instrument134C at 2 bar (200 kPa) for 18 min.

During sterilization, metal parts of differenttypes must not touch each other. Any contactwill lead to the formation of electrolyticcouples causing localized deterioration. Inorder to avoid this phenomenon, place theobjects to be sterilized in a cloth or sterilizingbag.

2. 3 REPLACING AND CLEANING THE WATERFILTER

The water filter should be cleaned periodicallyand replaced every 6 months. Shut off the water supply (Fig. 4-1). Switch the instrument to "O" then disconnect it. Unscrew the 2 filter elements using two 10mm

open-end spanners (Fig. 4-2). Remove the cartridge to replace the filter

(Fig. 4-3) or to clean it under running water(Fig. 4-4). Use the same procedure for thesealing gasket.

Screw the 2 filter elements together again usingthe two 10mm open-end spanners (Fig. 4-5).

Switch on the water supply and connect thedevice (4-6), then check for correct sprayoperation and the absence of leaks (Fig. 4-7).

Caution: a worn or clogged filter cartridgeshould be replaced.

2. 4 MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE

The housing of the Suprasson P5 BOOSTER as well asthe handpiece cord should be cleaned anddisinfected (use alcohol and/or disinfectantdental wipes) (Fig. 5).The Suprasson P5 BOOSTER requires no preventivemaintenance.

2. 5 DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

Disposal of the equipment and its accessoriesshould be carried out by a collection centre forelectronic equipment or by returning them toSATELEC's After Sales Service. In no case shouldthe device and its accessories be disposed of bythe user.Tips which have reached the end of their usefullife should be disposed of in safety containersdesigned for this purpose

Le Suprasson P5 BOOSTER de SATELEC est ungnrateur d'ultrasons pour les applicationsdentaires principales : dtartrage ettraitements endodontiques.

Le Suprasson P5 BOOSTER se compose : 1 tuyau souple vert (2 mtres) pour liaison au

rseau d'eau, quip de son filtre particules. 1 cordon secteur avec terre fonctionnelle (selon

modle). 1 cordon Pice Main. 1 pdale simple quipe de son cordon.

Accessoires livrs avec l'appareil : Coffret d'instruments pour applications

cliniques (selon modle). Tip Card

1. 2 DESCRIPTION TECHNIQUE

1. 3 INSTALLATION

a) RecommandationsL'utilisation du Suprasson P5 BOOSTER est limiteuniquement aux praticiens aviss et qualifis(chirurgiens-dentistes, hyginistes).Attention : avant la premire mise en service,nettoyer, dcontaminer et striliser lesaccessoires. Avant la premire utilisation du botier, il estrecommand de brancher les accessoires et defaire fonctionner le spray quelques minutes pourrincer le circuit d'eau intrieur de l'appareil.Veiller ce que l'appareil soit bien branch, bienisol ; l'utilisation de la prise secteur avec saprise de terre est obligatoire.L'utilisateur devra vrifier rgulirement lesaccessoires et les cordons afin de dceler tout

dfaut d'isolation et de les remplacer le caschant.Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si celui-ci sembledfectueux.En cas d'anomalie, il est recommand decontacter le fournisseur de votre Suprasson P5BOOSTER plutt que d'avoir recours unquelconque rparateur.

b) RaccordementsLe raccordement lectrique doit tre conformeaux normes en vigueur.

Face arrire du Suprasson P5 BOOSTER (Fig. 2).Raccorder : Le tuyau d'eau souple vert (Fig. 2-1) au rseau

d'alimentation en eau. Le cordon secteur doit tre connect une

prise de courant relie la terre (selon pays).

c) Mise en service et utilisationRaccordement de la Pice Main SuprassonLe raccordement de la pice main sur la douilledu cordon s'effectue par simple enfichage. Ne paseffectuer de mouvement de rotation.

Montage et utilisation des insertsLa vibration correcte d'un insert implique unserrage parfait qui ne doit pas tre forc au-delde son point de bute. Pour viter son auto-blocage, l'insert doit tre dmont aprs chaqueutilisation (Fig.3).Se rfrer au TipBook pour connatre la puissanced'utilisation des inserts de SATELEC.

d) ATTENTIONFermer imprativement larrive deau enquittant le cabinet dentaire.

II - ENTRETIEN ETSTERILISATION

Les consignes d'entretien et/ou de strilisationqui suivent doivent tre opres avant toutepremire utilisation de la pice main ou desinserts et limes livrs avec l'appareil.Eviter d'utiliser des produits de nettoyage et dedsinfection contenant des agents inflammables.Dans le cas contraire, veiller s'assurer del'vaporation du produit et de l'absence de toutcombustible sur l'appareil et ses accessoires avantla mise en fonctionnement.

2. 1 ENTRETIEN DE LA PIECE A MAINSUPRASSON

Prcaution : le circuit d'eau de l'ensemble de lapice main Suprasson et insert doit tre rinc l'eau 20 30 sec. aprs chaque utilisation.

2. 2 ENTRETIEN DES INSERTS

a) Quand sont-ils hors d'usage ?La forme et la masse des inserts sont lescaractristiques dterminantes pour obtenir lerendement maximal du gnrateur ultrasons. Lavigilance de l'utilisateur sur ces deuxcaractristiques permettra de conserver lesmeilleures performances de l'appareil. Il est donc, par consquent, vivementdconseill de modifier la structure des insertsen les limant ou en les tordant. De mme, le vieillissement d'un insert entranepar phnomne d'usure normale, unemodification de ses caractristiques.

Procder systmatiquement au remplacementd'un insert qui a subi une dtrioration par l'usureou par un choc accidentel (chute...).

b) Strilisation des insertsTout insert doit tre nettoy avant lastrilisation avec un coton imbib dalcool, deslingettes ou par immersion dans une cuve ultrasons.La strilisation des inserts est ralisable par tousprocds thermiques conventionnels.Conditions et cycles de strilisation selonmatriel.Matriel: autoclaveStrilisation sous chaleur humide - instrumentnon emball :134C 2 bars (200 KPa) pendant 18 minutes.

Pendant la strilisation, des pices mtalliquesde nature diffrente ne doivent pas se toucher.Tout contact entranerait la cration de coupleslectrolytiques qui provoqueraient unedtrioration locale. Afin dviter cephnomne, placer les objets dans un tissu ouun sac strilisable.

2. 3 REMPLACEMENT ET NETTOYAGE DUFILTRE A EAU

Le filtre eau doit tre nettoy rgulirementet doit tre chang tous les 6 mois. Fermer larrive deau (Fig. 4-1). Mettre lappareil sur "O" et le dbrancher. Dvisser les 2 parties du filtre laide de 2 cls

plates de 10 mm (Fig. 4-2). Extraire la cartouche pour remplacement du

filtre (Fig. 4-3), ou nettoyage du filtre sous jetdeau (Fig. 4-4). Procder de la mme manirepour le joint.

Revisser les 2 parties du filtre laide de 2 clsplates de 10 mm (Fig. 4-5).

Ouvrir larrive deau, rebrancher lappareil (Fig. 4-6), puis vrifier le bon fonctionnement duspray et labsence de fuite (Fig. 4-7).

Attention : une cartouche dtriore oubouche doit tre remplace.

2. 4 ENTRETIEN DE L'APPAREIL

Le botier du Suprasson P5 BOOSTER ainsi que lecordon de la Pice Main doivent tre nettoyset dsinfects (alcool et/ou lingettesdsinfectantes de cabinet dentaire) (Fig. 5).Le Suprasson P5 BOOSTER ne ncessite pas demaintenance prventive.

2. 5 ELIMINATION ET RETRAITEMENT

L'limination de l'appareil et de ses accessoiresdoit tre ralise par un centre de collecte pourappareils lectroniques ou par le renvoi de ceux-ci au Service Aprs-Vente de SATELEC. En aucun cas l'appareil et ses accessoires nedoivent tre limins par l'utilisateur. A la fin de leur vie, les inserts doivent tre jetsdans des containers de scurit prvus ceteffet.

1. 3 INSTALACIN

a) RecomendacionesLa utilizacin del Suprasson P5 BOOSTER estlimitada solamente a los operadores expertos ycualificados (cirujanos-dentistas, higienistas).Atencin : Antes de la primera puesta enmarcha, limpiar, desinfectar y esterilizar losaccesorios.Antes de la primera utilizacin de la caja, serecomienda conectar los accesorios y poner enmarcha el spray durante algunos minutos paraenjuagar el circuito de agua interior del aparato.Compruebe que el aparato est bien conectado,bien aislado; la utilizacin de la toma sector contoma de tierra es obligatoria.

El usuario deber comprobar regularmente losaccesorios y los cables para detectar cualquierdefecto de aislamiento y sustituirlos en su caso.No utilice el aparato si ste le parece defectuoso.En caso de anomala, se recomienda ponerse encontacto con el proveedor de su Suprasson P5BOOSTER en vez de llamar a cualquier tcnico enreparaciones.

b) ConexionesLa conexin elctrica debe cumplir las normas envigor.

Cara posterior del Suprasson P5 BOOSTER (Fig. 2). Conectar: La manguera de alimentacin flexible de agua

verde (Fig. 2-1) a la red de alimentacin deagua.

El cable sector debe estar conectado a unatoma de tierra (segn el pas).

c) Puesta en servicio y utilizacinConexin de la pieza de mano SuprassonLa conexin de la pieza de mano en el casquillodel cable se efecta simplemente a presin. Norealizar ningn movimiento de rotacin.

Montaje y utilizacin de los insertsLa correcta vibracin de un insert implica unajuste perfecto que no debe ser forzado ms allde su punto tope. Para evitar su autobloqueo, elinsert debe ser desmontado despus de cadautilizacin.Vase el TipBook para conocer la potencia deutilizacin de los inserts de SATELEC.

d) ATENCINCerrar imperativamente la entrada del agua alsalir del gabinete dental.

II - MANTENIMIENTO YESTERILIZACIN

Las siguientes instrucciones de mantenimientoy/o de esterilizacin deben ser efectuadas antesde la primera utilizacin de la pieza de mano o delos inserts y limas entregados con el aparato.Evite utilizar productos de limpieza ydesinfeccin que contengan agentes inflamables.En caso contrario, compruebe la evaporacin delproducto y la ausencia de cualquier tipo decombustible sobre el aparato y sus accesoriosantes de la puesta en marcha.

2. 1 MANTENIMIENTO DE LA PIEZA DE MANOSUPRASSON

Precaucin: el circuito de agua del conjunto dela pieza de mano Suprasson e insert debe serenjuagado con agua durante 20 a 30 segundosdespus de cada utilizacin.

2. 2 MANTENIMIENTO DE LOS INSERTS DEDETARTRAJE

a) Cundo est gastado un insert?La forma y el peso de cada insert, son lascaractersticas determinantes para la obtencinde un mximo rendimiento en la transmisin delos ultrasonidos. El control de estas doscaractersticas permitir al operador conservar lamxima eficacia del aparato.Consecuentemente, se desaconseja totalmentela manipulacin de los inserts, ya sealimndolos o doblndolos.Igualmente, el envejecimiento de un insertocasiona, por el fenmeno de desgaste normal,

una modificacin de sus caractersticas.Proceder sistemticamente a la sustitucin de losinserts que hayan sufrido algn dao debido aldesgaste o a un choque accidental (cada...).

b) Esterilizacin de los insertsTodo insert debe limpiarse antes de seresterilizado con la ayuda de un algodnimpregnado con alcohol, toallitasdesinfectantes de gabinete dental o bien, porinmersin en una cubeta de ultrasonidos.La esterilizacin de los inserts se puede realizarmediante cualquier tipo de procedimientotrmico convencional.Condiciones y ciclos de esterilizacin segn elmaterial:Material: autoclave.Esterilizacin bajo calor hmedo - instrumento noembalado:134 C a 2 bars (200 Kpa) durante 18 min.

Durante la esterilizacin, no se deben tocar laspiezas metlicas de diferente naturaleza.Cualquier contacto implicara la creacin declulas electrolticas que podran provocar undao local. Para evitar este fenmeno, coloquelos objetos en una tela o bolsa estril.

2. 3 SUSTITUCION Y LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO DEAGUA

El filtro de agua debe limpiarse regularmente ycambiarse cada 6 meses. Cerrar la entrada de agua (Fig. 4-1). Graduar el aparato a "0" y desconectarlo. Desenroscar las 2 partes del filtro con la ayuda

de 2 llaves planas de 10 mm. (Fig. 4-2). Extraer el cartucho para remplazar o limpiar el

filtro (Fig. 4-3) o bien limpieza del filtro bajochorro de agua (Fig. 4-4). Lo mismo para lajunta.

Roscar nuevamente las 2 partes del filtro con laayuda de las 2 llaves planas de 10 mm (Fig. 4-5).

Abrir la entrada de agua, conectar el aparato(Fig. 4-6) y comprobar el buen funcionamientodel spray y la ausencia de fugas (Fig. 4-7).

Atencin: El cartucho del filtro deteriorado uobstruido debe ser cambiado.EL SUPRASSON P5 BOOSTER NO NECESITA UNMANTENIMIENTO PREVENTIVO.

2. 4 MANTENIMIENTO DEL APARATO

La caja del Suprasson P5 Booster as como elcordn de la pieza de mano deben ser limpiadosy desinfectados (alcohol y/o toallitasdesinfectantes de gabinete dental) (Fig. 5).

2. 5 ELIMINACIN Y RECUPERACIN

La eliminacin del aparato y de sus accesoriosdebe ser efectuada por un centro de recogida deaparatos electrnicos o reenvindolos al ServicioPost-venta de SATELEC.En ningn caso, el aparato y sus accesoriosdebern ser eliminados por el usuario.Al final de su vida, los inserts debern ser tiradosen unos contenedores de seguridad previstos aestos efectos.

Der Suprasson P5 BOOSTER von SATELEC ist einUltraschall-Generator fr Zahnsteinentfernungund Endodontie.

Der Suprasson P5 BOOSTER beinhaltet: 1 Schlauch, grn (2 Meter) zum Anschluss an das

Wassernetz, ausgestattet mit einem Filtergegen Wasserverunreinigungen.

1 Netzkabel, dreipolig, mit Potentialausgleich(Erdung) (siehe Muster).

1 Handstckkabel. 1 einfacher Fuschalter mit Kabel.

1. 3 INSTALLATION

a) Wichtige HinweiseDer Gebrauch des Suprasson P5 BOOSTER ist nurqualifizierten Anwendern vorbehalten (Oral-Chirurgen, Hygienisten, etc.).Achtung: vor dem ersten Gebrauch das Zubehrreinigen und sterilisieren. Es wird empfohlen,das Zubehr vor der ersten Anwendunganzuschliessen und die Sprayfunktion einigeMinuten laufen zu lassen, um den internenWasserkreislauf des Gertes durchzusplen.Darauf achten, dass das Gert korrektangeschlossen und isoliert ist; die Netzsteckdosemuss geerdet sein.

Der Anwender muss das Zubehr und die Kabelregelmig auf Isolationsmngel prfen und ggf.austauschen.Ein scheinbar defektes Gert darf nichtverwendet werden.Bei Betriebsstrungen empfehlen wir Ihnen,vorzugsweise den Hndler Ihres Suprasson P5BOOSTER zu kontaktieren, anstatt sich an einenReparaturbetrieb zu wenden.

b) AnschlsseDer elektrische Anschluss muss konform mit dengeltenden Normen sein.

Rckseite Suprasson P5 BOOSTER (Abb. 2).Anschlsse: Grnen Wasserschlauch (Abb. 2-1) an die

Wasserversorgung anschliessen. Das Netzkabel muss an eine geerdete Steckdose

angeschlossen werden (gem derLandesvorschrift).

c) Inbetriebnahme und AnwendungAnschluss des Suprasson HandstckesDer Anschluss des Handstckes erfolgt durcheinfaches Aufstecken auf den Schlauch. Dabeibitte keine Drehbewegung ausfhren.

Montage und Verwendung der SpitzenDie korrekte Schwingung einer Spitze setzt voraus,dass diese perfekt sitzt und nicht ber ihren Anschlaghinaus angezogen wird. Um ein selbstndigesBlockieren zu vermeiden, muss die Spitze nach jederAnwendung entfernt werden. Siehe TipBook fr dieNutzungsleistung der SATELEC Spitzen

d) ACHTUNGUnbedingt die Wasserzufuhr vor dem Verlassender Zahnarztpraxis schliessen.

II - WARTUNG UNDSTERILISATION

Die nachstehenden Pflege- und/oderSterilisationsanweisungen mssen vor dem erstenGebrauch des mit dem Gert geliefertenHandstckes und Spitzen oder Feilen ausgefhrtwerden.Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung von Reinigungs-und Desinfektionsprodukten, die entzndlicheSubstanzen enthalten. Im gegenteiligen Fallversichern Sie sich, dass das Produkt auf demGert und dem Zubehr vor der Inbetriebnahmeverdunstet ist.

2. 1 PFLEGE DES SUPRASSON HANDSTCKES

Vorsichtsmanahme: der Wasserkreislauf desSuprasson Handstckes und die Spitze mssennach jedem Gebrauch 20 bis 30 Sek. mit Wasserdurchgesplt werden.

2. 2 PFLEGE DER SPITZENZAHNSTEINENTFERNUNG

a) Wann ist eine Spitze nicht mehr einsatzfhig?Form und Gewicht einer Arbeitsspitze sind dieMerkmale, die fr die Erzielung dergrtmglichen Leistung des Ultraschall-generators magebend sind. Wenn der Benutzerauf diese beiden Faktoren achtet, ist stets diebestmgliche Leistung des Gertes erreichbar.Deshalb wird dringend davon abgeraten, dieStruktur der Spitze durch Bearbeitung mit derFeile oder durch Verdrehen zu verndern. Auch durch den zunehmenden Verschleiss ndertsich das Verhalten der Arbeitsspitze.

Ersetzen Sie bitte systematisch alle Spitzen, dieabgenutzt oder beschdigt (heruntergefallen)sind.

b) Sterilisation der Arbeitsspitzen Vor der Sterilisation muss jede Spitze mitWattestbchen, die in Alkohol getrnkt sind,mit Tchern oder im Ultraschallbehltergereinigt werden.Jedes Heisterilisierverfahren ist fr dieArbeitsspitzen anwendbar.Sterilisationsbedingungen:Gert: Autoklav Sterilisation: feuchtwarm - unverpacktesInstrument:18 Minuten bei 134 C und 2 bar (200 KPa)

Beim Sterilisieren drfen Teile ausverschiedenartigen Metallen nicht miteinanderin Kontakt kommen. Dies wrde eineelektrolytische Wirkung hervorrufen, die lokaleSchden zur Folge hat. Um dieses Phnomen zuvermeiden, die Teile in ein Tuch oder einensterilisierbaren Beutel legen.

2. 3 REINIGUNG UND WECHSEL DESWASSERFILTERS

Der Wasserfilter muss regelmssig gereinigt undalle 6 Monate ersetzt werden. Wasserzuleitung schliessen (Abb. 4-1). Gert auf "0" stellen und Netzkabel ziehen Die 2 Teile des Filters mit 2 Maulschlsseln

(10 mm) (Abb. 4-2) abschrauben. Zum Austausch die Filterpatrone abziehen

(Abb. 4-3) oder zur Reinigung die Filterpatroneunter flieendem Wasser subern (Abb. 4-4).Gleicher Pflegeprozess fr die Dichtung.

Die 2 Teile des Filters zusammensetzen und mitden beiden Maulschlsseln (10 mm) festziehen(Abb. 4-5).

Wasserzuleitung ffnen, Gert einschalten, (Abb.4-6) Sprayfunktion und eventuelleUndichtigkeiten am Filter berprfen (Abb. 4-7).

Achtung : Ein beschdigter oder verstopfterFiltereinsatz muss unbedingt ersetzt werden.

2. 4 PFLEGE DES GERTES

Das Gehuse von Suprasson P5 BOOSTER und dasKabel des Handstckes knnen mit Alkohol aberauch mit den in der Zahnarztpraxis blichenDesinfektionstchern gereinigt und desinfiziertwerden (Abb. 5).Der Suprasson P5 BOOSTER bentigt keinevorbeugende Wartung.

2. 5 ENTSORGUNG UND WIEDERVERWERTUNG

Die Entsorgung des Gertes und seines Zubehrsmuss durch die Rcksendung an den SATELECKundendienst erfolgen.Das Gert sowie das Zubehr drfen keinesfallsvon dem Anwender entsorgt werden.Verschlissene Spitzen mssen in die dafrvorgesehenen Sicherheitscontainer entsorgtwerden.

1.1 PRESENTAZIONE

Suprasson P5 BOOSTER di SATELEC ungeneratore di ultrasuoni che viene utilizzatonelle principali applicazioni odontoiatriche:ablazione del tartaro e trattamentiendodontici.

L'apparecchio composto da: 1 tubo flessibile verde (2 metri) per il

collegamento alla rete idrica, dotato diapposito filtro per le impurit.

1 cavo di alimentazione con messa a terra difunzionamento (secondo il modello)

1 cordone per manipolo 1 pedale semplice con cordone

Accessori forniti con l'apparecchio: Cofanetto di strumenti per applicazioni cliniche

1. 3 INSTALLAZIONE

a) RaccomandazioniL'utilizzo di Suprasson P5 BOOSTER limitatoesclusivamente a medici e/o personale esperto equalificato (dentisti-chirurghi, igieniste).Attenzione: prima di mettere in funzionel'apparecchio per la prima volta, pulire,disinfettare e sterilizzare gli accessori. Prima diutilizzare la copertura esterna per la prima volta siraccomanda di collegare gli accessori e farefunzionare lo spray per qualche minuto in modo dapoter sciacquare i circuiti dell'acqua all'internodell'apparecchio.Controllare che l'apparecchio sia correttamentecollegato ed isolato; obbligatorio l'utilizzo della

presa di rete con la relativa presa di terra.L'utente tenuto a verificare regolarmente gliaccessori ed i cavi per individuare eventuali guastiall'isolamento e procedere alle eventuali sostituzioninecessarie.Non utilizzare l'apparecchio se si sospetta un guasto.In caso di anomalia, si consiglia di contattare ilfornitore dell'apparecchio Suprasson P5 Boosteranzich rivolgersi a un riparatore qualsiasi.

b) AllacciamentiL'allacciamento elettrico deve essere conformealle norme vigenti.

Parte posteriore del Suprasson P5 BOOSTER (Fig. 2)Collegare: Il tubo flessibile dell'acqua, di colore verde

(Fig. 2-1), alla rete idrica. Il cordone dell'alimentazione elettrica ad una

presa di corrente con regolare messa a terra(secondo le regole locali).

c) Messa in servizio e utilizzoCollegamento del manipolo SuprassonInserire il manipolo sul manicotto del cordone percollegarlo. Non effettuare movimenti rotatori.

Montaggio e utilizzo degli insertiLa corretta vibrazione di un inserto richiede ilcorretto fissaggio, che non deve essere forzatooltre il punto di arresto. Per evitarel'autobloccaggio, l'inserto deve essere smontatodopo ogni utilizzo (Fig. 3). Consultare la Guida per informazioni sullapotenza di utilizzo degli inserti SATELEC.

d) ATTENZIONEChiudere sempre l'ingresso acqua quando silascia lo studio dentistico.

II - MANUTENZIONE ESTERILIZZAZIONE

Le operazioni di manutenzione e/osterilizzazione, indicate di seguito, devono essereeseguite prima dell'utilizzo iniziale del manipolo,delle punte e delle lime.Evitare di utilizzare prodotti per pulizia edisinfezione contenenti agenti infiammabili. Incaso contrario, assicurarsi dell'evaporazione delprodotto e dell'assenza di combustibilesull'apparecchio e sui relativi accessori primadella messa in funzione.

2. 1 MANUTENZIONE DEL MANIPOLOSUPRASSON

Avvertenza: il circuito dell'acqua del gruppomanipolo Suprasson e inserto deve essererisciacquato con acqua per 20-30 secondi dopoogni utilizzo.

2. 2 MANUTENZIONE DEGLI INSERTI

a) Quando un inserto fuori uso ?La forma e il peso di ciascun inserto sonocaratteristiche determinanti per ottenere ilmassimo rendimento del generatore a ultrasuoni.La vigilanza da parte dell'utente di talicaratteristiche permetter di mantenere unabuona performance dell'apparecchio.Di conseguenza sconsigliamo vivamente dimodificare la struttura degli inserti limandoli opiegandoli.Analogamente, il logorio di un inserto nedetermina, a seguito della normale usura, unamodifica delle caratteristiche.

Procedere sistematicamente alla sostituzione diun inserto che ha subito un deterioramento perusura o per colpo accidentale (caduta).

b) Sterilizzazione degli inserti.Tutti gli inserti devono essere puliti prima dellasterilizzazione con un batuffolo di cotoneimbevuto di alcool, con fazzolettini disinfettantio immergendoli in una vaschetta ad ultrasuoni.La sterilizzazione degli inserti pu essereeseguita mediante tutti i procedimenti termiciconvenzionali.Condizioni e cicli di sterilizzazione secondo il tipodi apparecchiatura.Apparecchio : autoclaveSterilizzazione a calore umido: strumento nonimballato134C ad 2 bar (200 KPa) per 18 minuti

Durante la sterilizzazione, evitare il contattotra parti metalliche di diversa natura.L'eventuale contatto determinerebbe lacreazione di coppie elettrolitiche tali daprovocare il deterioramento locale. Per evitarequesto fenomeno, posizionare gli oggetti in untessuto o sacco sterilizzabile.

2. 3 PULIZIA E SOSTITUZIONE DEL FILTRODELL'ACQUA

Il filtro dell'acqua deve essere pulitoregolarmente e deve essere sostituito ogni 6mesi. Chiudere il rubinetto dell'acqua (Fig. 4-1) Posizionare l'apparecchio su "O" e scollegarlo. Svitare le due parti del filtro aiutandosi con le

due chiavi piatte da 10 mm (Fig. 4-2). Estrarre la cartuccia per la sostituzione o la

pulizia (Fig. 4-3) oppure pulire il filtro sotto ungetto d'acqua (Fig. 4-4). La stessa proceduravale anche per il connettore.

Riavvitare le due parti del filtro con le duechiavi piatte da 10 mm (Fig. 4-5).

Aprire il rubinetto dell'acqua, ricollegarel'apparecchio, (Fig. 4-6) quindi controllare ilbuon funzionamento dello spray e l'assenza diperdite d'acqua (Fig. 4-7).

Attenzione : la cartuccia del filtro rovinata ootturata deve essere subito sostituita.

2. 4 MANUTENZIONE DELL'APPARECCHIO

La copertura esterna del Suprasson P5 BOOSTER ed ilcordone del manipolo Suprasson devono esserepuliti e disinfettati (alcool e/o salviettinedisinfettanti normalmente utilizzate nello studiodentistico) (Fig. 5).Il Suprasson P5 BOOSTER non richiede manutenzionepreventiva.

2. 5 SMALTIMENTO E RIGENERAZIONE

Lo smaltimento dell'apparecchio e dei relativiaccessori deve essere realizzato da un centro diraccolta specializzato in apparecchiatureelettriche o tramite l'invio al Servizio di Assistenzadi SATELEC.In nessun caso l'apparecchio e gli accessori devonoessere smaltiti dall'utente.Al termine della loro durata operativa, gli insertidevono essere gettati nei contenitori di sicurezzaappositamente previsti.

I - VOORSTELLING ENINSTALLATIE

1. 1 VOORSTELLING

De Suprasson P5 BOOSTER is een generator vanultrasone trillingen voor de voornaamstetandheelkundige toepassingen: het verwijderenvan tandsteen en endodontische behandelingen.

De Suprasson P5 BOOSTER bestaat uit: 1 groene slang (2 meter) voor aansluiting op de

waterleiding, met een filter 1 netsnoer met aarding (afhankelijk van het

model) 1 handstuk-snoer 1 enkelvoudig pedaal met snoer

Bij het apparaat geleverde accessoires: Doosje met instrumenten voor klinische

1. 3 INSTALLATIE

a) AanbevelingenHet gebruik van de Suprasson P5 BOOSTER isvoorbehouden aan gekwalificeerde en ervarengebruikers (tandartsen, mondhyginisten).Let op: voor de eerste ingebruikname moetende accessoires worden schoongemaakt,ontsmet en gesteriliseerd.Voor de eerste ingebruikname van het toestelwordt aanbevolen de accessoires eerst aan tesluiten en de spray een paar minuten te latenwerken om het intern watercircuit van hetapparaat door te spoelen.Controleer of het apparaat goed is aangesloten engesoleerd; het gebruik van een geaard

stopcontact is verplicht.De gebruiker moet de accessoires en de snoerenregelmatig controleren op isolatie en dezeeventueel vervangen.Gebruik het apparaat niet als het defect lijkt.In geval van storing moet u contact op nemen metuw Suprasson P5 BOOSTER leverancier, in plaats vaneen beroep te doen op een willekeurigehersteller.

b) AansluitingenDe elektrische aansluiting moet voldoen aan deplaatselijk geldende voorschriften.

Achterzijde van de Suprasson P5 BOOSTER (Fig. 2).Aansluiten: De waterslang (Fig. 2-1) op de waterleiding

aansluiten. Het netsnoer moet op een geaard stopcontact

worden aangesloten (afhankelijk van het land).

c) IngebruiknameAansluiting van het Suprasson handstukDe aansluiting van het handstuk op desnoerstekker gebeurt door simpel inklikken. Geendraaiende beweging uitvoeren.

Montage en gebruik van de tipsDe juiste trilling van en tip hangt af van het juistaandraaien. Niet verder draaien dan hetaanslagpunt. Om zelfblokkering te voorkomenmoet de tip na elk gebruik worden gedemonteerd(Fig. 3).Zie TipBook voor de vermogeninstelling van detips van SATELEC.

d) OPGELETVoor het verlaten van de praktijk moet dewatertoevoer worden dichtgedraaid

II - ONDERHOUD ENSTERILISATIE

De voorschriften voor onderhoud en/ofsterilisatie moeten telkens worden uitgevoerd alsu het apparaat of de meegeleverde accessoires ingebruik gaat nemen.Vermijd het gebruik van schoonmaak- endesinfecteermiddelen die brandbare stoffenbevatten.Als dat niet mogelijk is, controleer dan of hetproduct volledig verdampt is dat en er zich geenenkele brandbare stof meer op het apparaat enop de accessoires bevindt alvorens het apparaatin te schakelen.

2. 1 ONDERHOUD VAN HET SUPRASSONHANDSTUK

Opgelet: het watercircuit van het geheel van hetSuprasson handstuk en tip moet met waterworden doorgespoeld 20 tot 30 sec. na elkgebruik.

2. 2 ONDERHOUD VAN DE TIPS

a) Wanneer zijn deze aan vervanging toeDe vorm en de grootte van de tips zijn debepalende eigenschappen om maximaalrendement te verkrijgen van de ultrasonegenerator. Door de waakzaamheid van degebruiker ten aanzien van deze tweeeigenschappen kan het apparaat optimaal blijvenpresteren. Het wordt daarom ten sterkste afgeraden destructuur van de tips te wijzigen door vijlen ofverbuigen.

Ook de veroudering van een tip door normaleslijtage veroorzaakt een wijziging van deeigenschappen. Vervang systematisch tips die beschadigd zijndoor slijtage of schok (val enz.).

b) Sterilisatie van de tipsElke tip moet voorafgaand aan sterilisatieworden gereinigd met een in alcohol gedrenktwattenstokje, doekjes of door plaatsing in eenultrasone reinigingsbak.De sterilisatie van de tips kan worden uitgevoerdmet alle conventionele thermische methodes.Omstandigheden en sterilisatiecycli hangen afvan het materiaalMateriaal: autoclaafSterilisatie bij vochtige hitte - instrument zonderverpakking:134 C bij 2 bar (200 KPa) gedurende 18 min.

Gedurende de sterilisatie mogen metalenonderdelen van verschillende aard elkaar nietaanraken. Elk contact zou elektrolytischevelden kunnen veroorzaken die zouden leidentot plaatselijke beschadigingen. Plaats om ditverschijnsel te voorkomen deze voorwerpen ineen steriliseerbare doek of zak.

2. 3 REINIGEN EN VERVANGEN VAN HETWATERFILTER

De waterfilter moet regelmatig gereinigd wordenen moet om de 6 maanden worden vervangen. De wateraanvoer afsluiten (Fig. 4-1). Het apparaat op "O" zetten en ontkoppelen De beide delen van de filter met 2 10 mm platte

sleutels losdraaien (Fig. 4-2). De filter eruit halen om hem te vervangen of

schoon te maken (Fig. 4-3)in een ultrasoonbad ofhem onder een straal water afspoelen (Fig. 4-4).Idem voor de o-ring.

De beide delen van de filter weer aandraaienmet de beide 10 mm platte sleutels (Fig. 4-5).

De wateraanvoer openen, het apparaat weeraansluiten (Fig. 4-6)vervolgens controleren ofde spray goed werkt en of er geen lekken zijn(Fig. 4-7).

Attentie: als het filter beschadigd of verstoptis, moet deze altijd worden vervangen.

2. 4 ONDERHOUD VAN HET APPARAAT

De body van de Suprasson P5 BOOSTER en het snoervan het handstuk moeten worden schoongemaakten gedesinfecteerd (alcohol of tandartsenpraktijk-desinfectiedoekjes) (Fig. 5).De Suprasson P5 BOOSTER heeft geen preventiefonderhoud nodig.

2. 5 VERNIETIGING VAN HET TOESTEL

De vernietiging van het toestel en zijn accessoiresmoet worden uitgevoerd door een firma voor deverzameling van elektronische apparaten of doorhet terugsturen ervan aan de Klantenservice vanSATELEC.In geen geval mogen het apparaat en zijnaccessoires worden vernietigd door de gebruiker.De tips moeten, bij het einde van hun levensduur,worden weggegooid in de daartoe bestemdeveiligheidscontainers.

- Er een elektrische installatie wordt gebruikt dieniet voldoet aan de geldende voorschriften

- Het apparaat anders wordt gebruikt dan in dezehandleiding wordt beschreven.

- De fabrikant behoudt zich het recht voor, hetapparaat en/of de handleiding zondervoorafgaande aankondiging te wijzigen.

Omgevingsrisico'sVoor dragers van pacemakers of van andereactieve implants, bestaat het risico van mogelijkeinterferentie of schade aan de pacemaker.
