(Manual) North America Inland Haulage Inquiry Service
(January 2014)
This service menu was designed to provide you with Inland Haulage Tariff and Traffic information for USA & Canada Inland locations with more convenience.
In addition to finding service availability and tariff, customer can also send a request for a new inland service point on this system - which is not available on the system at the time of inquiry.
1) How to access on “N. America Inland Haulage Tariff Inquiry” menu
You can find the menu on HMM local site.
- HMM Main site > (N. America) Local Site > Quick Links > Inland Haulage(USA & Canada)
- HMM Main site > Local Site > Sitemap > Rate & Tariff > Inland Haulage > USA & Canada

2) First step: Choose Service profile
HMM offers separate tariff by services: Trans-Pacific trade, Trans-Atlantic trade and Atlantic North/South trade. (for N. America)
Please choose your cargo's service (trade lane).

3) On Main Page: Inland Haulage Inquiry
(1) Input Location info: by Name or ZIP code of a certain location.
*Nation and State are not mandatory fields, but to distinguish/sort out location/zip codes with same or
similar description.
(2) Select a Location or Zip code listed out.
(3) Check the selected location with GIS map.
(4) Input Transportation Date, preferred Gate-port and Commodity information.
(5) Inland Haulage tariff amount for the selected route will be shown on [5]. You can also see the route
information on the map on [3].
(6) You can download the result (tariff) of inquiry by clicking button. You can have simple tariff table
view by clicking button.
(7) Make new Rate Request - When no result found, you can make a request to HMM for missing haulage.
Click to send a request.
After HMM follows up the request, the new location will be added on HMM's inland service location and you can find the tariff on the menu.
