1-1 This specification instruction describes components of GAS shuttle kiln, it made

from LIENHUNG WORSHOP-VIETNAM

Chapter 2 SPECIFICATION OF SHUTTLE KILN

2-1.general of diameter of kiln =

Inside = w=1400mm, high= 1300mm, length = 2700mm

Out side = w=1900mm, high = 2500mm, length = 4200mm +3000mm for car

Powered by 4 gas burner and to be controlled in 2 zone separator

Control system with PLC temperature control module, and 8 module max

Auto control and automatic stop the firing, general diameter see pages =2 or 17

2-2.WORKS =

-Shuttle kiln used for heating ceramics or heat treatment of metal, temperature

uses from 500 to 1000-0c

- The kiln have a car for supporting the product,, it can remove out the kiln on

the 2 rain line, that’s for easy arrangement the heavy product up on the car then

remove the car in to the kiln for firing.

-This kiln made for heat treatment of metal up to 1000 kg, and up to 1000-0c

2-3.Heating specification

a--1 burner can fire max 8 kg/gas/hours

b-- This kiln average use 3-20 kg/gas/hours

d-- This kiln to be fixed 04 gas burner and got blower fans 1.5 hp.

e-- The kiln to be fixes 01 centrifugal fan on the chimney for cool speed

adjustable, power = 3hp-380v-50Hz

f-- Control system have =01 control board, stage next the kiln, its control the

burner,-, tempertature control, fan control, cool fan control, it auto run by 01

button and auto stop the burner after finish heating and keeping temperature

g-- The kiln also have 01 computer for control and recorder of heating process its

to be connect to control board by 01 line through 01 communication card its

change from RS485 to RS 232,and 01 soft ware to be setting in computer. At the

computer you can set up program for heating in method = on/off or PID or

programmable up on you select, how for suitable with your production, it control

the temperature ,and its can recorder in the computer... its recorder in screen of

computer in diagram,, you can see right here = how much temperature now,, its

can recorder the time kiln running in : hours-minute-second and recorder in hard

disk of computer,,soo you can see right there ,can see late ,,can copy to other

computer, you can send through by internet to another country for checking when

any require,, you also can print out the paper to store or report to manager. You

can see the record files anywhere, anytime, and know if the kiln running correct

or not???

h-- In the control board, we also fix 02 temperature control unit of OMRON

(Japan) to check direct at near the kiln and to know the kiln running good or not.

I-- in the kiln you also fix max 10 or more the thermocouple the check any where

in the kiln, that mean to be fix 10 or more temperature control module of PLC (

DELTA trade mark )

k-- The kiln maybe control correct in +/- 14 -0c, see pages = 4+5+6

2-4.Insulated panel of the kiln frame

� right side and left side of kiln by ceramic fiber ( ISOLITE trade mark of

Japan )

� top of kiln by ceramic fiber ,use max 1400-0c

� the door of kiln by ceramic fiber

� the floor ( that the car ) to be build by refractory tile up to 1400-0c

2-5.Base steel constructor

� the kiln frame to be building by box steel and U.V steel

� The chimney to be build by refractory up to 03m in high, then connected of

steel chimney up to 10 m.

� the car to be run up on the 2 rain line, its to be fix on the floor of factory

base

2-6.Gas system line and security.

� all component of gas line we fix the part to be made in Taiwan or Italia like

= valve,-,solenoid,-,regular,-,press gas switch,,,, see pages =16-24

� In prevent and fight fire for security we fix more the gas detector with 02

sensor, it’s to be made in = http://www.nebimak.com (turkey), any gas leak

out, the gas detector will active alarm then stop the burner. And cutting out

the supply gas line.

Chapter 3 Layer floor and painting and GAS supply

1- For erecting the kiln we have to got the correct space for the installation of the kiln,

complete with concrete slab ,capable of supporting the weight of the kiln and product,

at this kiln we need the base can support more then 1 ton per square Metter, with

w = more than 4m,,length more then 08m

2- The kiln have the chimney, so we need the space on ceiling of house for assembly

the chimney in height = 10 m

3- Painting

a- the frame of kiln to be have hi-temp silver painting

b- the chimney to be have red painting

4- electric source = we need the power line of 380v/03 phase and more than 05 kw to fix

near the kiln about 02 m with the circuit breaker.

5 - GAS source = we need the gas line at minimum pipe 21mm, with low press and to

be set at 01 bar, also have regulator, gas filter,, ball valve, and flow quality in using

at minimum 3-25 kg/gas/hours.

Chapter 4 How to setting and operating the kiln

4-1.First step of setting the kiln =

a- First step of running the kiln we have to set up for burner running, we have to

set the control regular and direct regular for suitable with your product that

mean = how of speed of raise of temperature, example – you need after 02

hours the kiln up to 625-0c,, that the speed of raise of temperature, its also

understand the how of power of burner take out,,,,, also set up the air valve of

blower fan of burner for good fire in chamber.

b- Second one, we set up the cool fan at chimney for how speed of cooling, its

can adjust of speed of cooling of the kiln after finish heating and keeping in

time.

c- Third one, we have to set up the PLC temperature controller, set some

specification of control in computer through the soft ware, how about of

program, how the database of PID control, how of recorder in hard disk of

computer. After finishing all above, we ready to run the kiln with product.

d- How to set up the PLC temperature control please see in pages = 16-22

e- Important note = remember that : you have to got space on top kiln ( the

ceiling ) of 300mm for fire, that do not arrange the product……

f- Also at the bottom of floor of car, we have to leave 100mm high space no

arrangement the product for releasing the smoke, it comes out through the

chimney on the bottom of the car…

g- Remember that = the product has to be arranged 100mm away the wall of the

kiln for good temperature…..

4-2.How to operating the kiln

h- step 1= open the door lock of kiln, then pull out the car, then arrangement

the products up on the car with the support frame (any kind of products you

need suitable support frame to be manufacture by SUS 304 or stainless steel.),

after finish take up the product on car and checking for good,, we push the car

in to the kiln and lock the door.

i- step 2 = power on of control board by the CB,-,then computer, set up or

check again the program in the soft ware ,it have to correct the SV,-,timer,-

,,PID date,, and make the files name for recorder in computer,, any connect

between the computer and the control board have to ready and through out.

Any thermocouple in good connects will appears in the screen of computer.

j- Step 3 = open the main gas valve, check it correct gas press in gas Metter,

that mean 01 bar in press.

k- Step 4 = Stand on the control board and push the burner button,, that are

running the kiln in fire

l- Stop the firing = please push the off button of burner, that means stop fire,

stop supply the gas in come.

m- Auto stop = up on the program the kiln will fire and raise the temperature in

the kiln,, keep temperature in timer,, finish the timer,, the control board will

automatic stop firing, stop gas supply ( but blower fan still running )

n- For finish , please to cut off the main ball valve of gas line

o- After the kiln cool at 150-0c we can stop all fan and cut off the main electric

power, we can continues to check the recorder file in computer and print out

the paper if require.

Chapter 5 How to maintenance the kiln

a- in 06 months should be pump the grease in the ball bearing of the car wheel

b- In 06 months check the gas filter and clean it

c- Daily checking the car floor for cleaning

d- 01 year checking the line of chimney for cleaning

e- If using in 700-0c ,4 year may be change the thermocouple

f- In process of using the kiln check the door still tight or not, if loose can

use the ceramic fiber to fix more 01 thin layer

g- Every time using the kiln, we should check the condition of electric power

line and the gas line around the kiln.

Chapter 6 the burner

The burner in high temperature, up to 1500-0c

Max power 08 kg /gas/hours

Use LPG gas at press 0.02 to 0.7 bar

Compete with the gas control unit and the blower fan and ignition spark and ignition transformer

Its automatic fire in control.

Chapter 7 the PLC temperature control and recorder

a- Using the product of delta group ,made by taiwan,serier- No =DTC

1000/2000

b- It’s complex in module ,it accompanies with the communication card for

connecting to computer by communication port RS-232 and RS-485

c- It’s supplied with the specialized soft ware for the control on diagram in

computer screen. You can set up program and control mode

( on/off,,PID,,program )

d- At here we fix the picture of connected and the catalogues.

e- The computer may be arranged max 1500m from the kiln.
