How PlayOn Works

How does MediaMall Technologies' PlayOn™ magically enable you to watch your favorite movies, TV shows and videos from the Internet on your TV? Well, we're glad you asked!

In plain English, PlayOn runs on your Windows PC and gets your favorite content from Web sites such as Hulu, Nefflix, YouTube and more through your broadband Internet connection. The content is sent from your PC to your Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or

other device which is attached to your TV where you can watch and enjoy it on-demand. Just download the PlayOn media server, install it on your PC, and

you'll be watching internet content on your TV before you know it! If your new TV has a DLNA support, you are lucky, you can watch Russian TV BestRussianTV directly into TV without additional set-top boxes.

Given the fact that the software ruDREAM Infinity X for DreamBox and VU + has a built-in DLNA support, your box may use this service without any additional configuration.The only thing you need to have is – PlayOn plugin, located on any computer in the house and connected to a local home network

How to setup PlayOn Media Server PlayOn Media Server is a program that can convert video on the fly in the readable for the devices (PS3, Wii, Xbox360, DreamDox, VU +) format. Detailed installation instructions and requirements of your PC, you'll find on the PlayON project site.

How to install plugin on Your PC1. Open PlayOn Settings.

2. In General Settings press Stop button

3. Close PlayOn Settings.

4. Click on Download plugin. It will opens a dialog where you must specify a folder to save the file. Save the file on your desktop and wait for the download is completed.

5. Copy ".plugin" in "..\Program Files\MediaMall\plugins", ("..\Program Files (x86)\MediaMall\plugins" in 64-bit version).

6. Open PlayOn Settings, go to General Settings and start service by pressing Start

7. Go to Plugins, find IPTV Plugin press on plugin icon. Type login and password, and then press "Test".

Using BestRussianTV on DreamBox or VU+After starting the software on your PC to your device will automatically search for DLNA Media Server on your network and in the menu [Sources] You will see PlayOn menu.

By selecting it You will see in next menu list of different services. For using BestRussianTV You need to select An IPTV plug-in
