1. Introduction

The EPI systems consists of power distribution units EPI, available in different configurations, and monitoring modules EPI MM, available in 1 phase and 3 phase version. The power distribution units will provide power regardless if a monitoring module is present

or not. With a EPI MM mounted in the power distribution unit is it possible to monitor:

-Input voltage (V)

-Total load current (A)

-Total power (kW)

-Energy consumption (kWh)

Included in the EPI MM is local monitoring or remote monitoring through IP.

3. Installation

3.1 SINGLE INSTALLATION

Connect each EPI MM to WAN/LAN through RJ45 cable in the NET port.

3.2 DAISY CHAIN INSTALLATION

Connect one EPI MM to WAN/LAN through RJ45 cable in the NET port.

Connect the first slave unit from the Masters SER port to the Slave LINK port.

Repeat this for additional slave units. Maximum 4 slave units to 1 master.

Set each master/slave to individual addresses. See section 3.3.
