Container Opening OperationDuring container open, pump flow is directed to both the Cap end and the Rod end of the container cylinders. Since the Cap end area is twice the area of the Rod end (therefor twice the force), the cylinders extend, opening up the container.

Container Opening OperationWith H5 energized during Container opening, the rod end oil is short circuited back into the cap end. This 50% (1/2 the cap end area) additional oil causes the Container to open 1.5 times faster. This is referred to as a Regenerative Circuit.
