Duro compagnie is a collective design-driven production boutique. Based in Beaver-ton, Oregon and founded by Danny Rubyono in 2001, Duro focuses on transforming complex information into a unique and compelling visual story telling in a form of videos or visual communications that resonate with audiences both domestically and abroad. Duro's team has over a decade of experience creating dynamic motion design for the the world's biggest brand, companies, and television networks.

We design to solve problem and bring ideas to life. Our design philosophy hinges on simplicity and e�ectiveness. It allows us to create design with purpose - connecting the gap between strategy and creative to deliver content e�ectively to its audience.

Because of our small team, the cross-pollination of ideas and communication with clients isn’t hindered by layers of manage-ment. Instead, it is nourished by an autonomous collaborative creative process. As a result, we can o�er a competitive pricing that gives clients flexi-bility in choosing the best solution that fits their budget.

Duro was founded in 2001 by Danny Rubyono, a SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) alumnus who has garnered over 15 years of ex-perience working for various design agencies and Fortune 100 clients. Danny has taken expe-rience from working with clients like Nike, Intel, HP, Exxon, Microsoft, Xerox, Cisco and assem-bled an international team of styles, talents, and experience to create truly unique design unpar-alleled in a homogenous agency environment.”

DANNY RUBYONOFounder, Design Principal

As a SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) alumnus in Computer Art, Danny aims to create the most e�ective collaborative environment for his collective group. His 15 years of experience with Fortune 100 companies, including Nike, Intel, Cisco, HP, Xerox, Verizon, Exxon, and AT&T have finely tuned his standard for the nuances of motion graphics, animation, and design integration. With a passion for mixed-media, he strives to push the limits and provide unex-pected design that delights and delivers a punch. He believes in strong determination and solid work ethic as the road to long-lasting relationships, and making dreams a reality.

MEET OUR TEAM

ANTHONY PAUZIEDesign Director

With his solid design background from Art Center College of Design, he brings a unique mixed of traditional and digital artistry and translate those into a meaningful story that mani-fests in his design. He spent a good part of his freelance career in the LA area where he honed his motion graphic skills and exposed to various design challenges from broadcast design to digital content for space design. Currently he resides in Seattle and has worked with clients such as Microsoft, Xbox, Paypal, Amazon, and other Fortune 100 companies in the US.

TIMOTHY THIESSENSenior Motion Designer

Working in After E�ects for almost 20 years. He sees motion graphics as an instrument to tell the client's story, where every element serves to further that story. Beginning his career editor he perfected the techniques of timing and storytelling. Seeking creative solutions to communicating complex ideas is his goal. Tim's other interest include typography, time lapse photography, stop motion, and running.

RONNY SOArt Director / Motion Designer

Passionated story teller and creative maker stems from his rich background in art. He is instrumental in creative process ranging from creative storyboarding and concept design to video and visual direction – giving him the extensive knowl-edge needed to develop an idea into a visual art. Outside of crafting pixels, he also love to shoot photos and doing digital illustration on iPad.

FRED ROUAULTSound designer / Composer

Frederic studied at ESRA in Nice, France, a school who’s alumnae directed or created sound for films such as “Taken,” “From Paris with Love,” and Oscar-winning “Slumdog Millionaire.” After five years of working as a sound engineer for the Opera and Theater of Nice and Monaco, as well as The Monte-Carlo Sporting, he is now exclusively composing and sound designing for film and commercial.

ALBERT CHUNGCreative / Compositor

Albert is an art director who has a diverse visual style and unique range of depth and craftsmanship in motion arts and film. He seamlessly blends his architectural skills with the world of digital e�ects and compositing. His background in system management has help him lead and manage the VFX design team e�ectively. He has earned 1st place at Seattle Animation and Film Festival, Silver Anvil Awards and three times Telly Awards. He specialize in creative visual design, compositor, and motion development for feature films, digi-tal storybook, gaming, UX/ UI prototype and commercial advertising.

MINH NGUYEN3d Animator / VFX Director

2 words that can sum up Minh’s achievement - Awesome and Fast - the latter one has dual meanings, In addition of being a super fast 3d animator and modeler, he is also a fast car a�cionado. Minh brings a visual e�ects artistry to the next level where he meticulously crafts his animation and makes sure all elements working seamlessly to create an awesome product.

We make sure that we actively listen to our client so as to gain a better understanding of client’s requests and identify key elements that might be crucial in the final outcomes both for client and its audience.

This is the stage where we convert our discovery into ideas, align our expectations, and discuss potential solutions that fit client’s budget. Validation means disagreeing or agreeing with clients to make sure that our ideas relevant and can be realized within budget scope.

Third stage is the creative design phase where we bring ideas to live by implementing style frames, concept sketches, and preliminary storyboard. This stage set very critical in terms of setting expectation of what will be delivered in the final stage. Depending on project complexity, we typ-ically have a minimum of 3 rounds of revision to accommodate feedbacks.

incorporate their existing footprint artwork brand asset and using it as a stepping stone to create an entry wall art installation. The result, Duro scored with 4 beautiful animations that made the client smiled and super happy.

Design a variety of media deliveries for FLUOR show event, one of the biggest construction company in the world based in Dallas, TX.
