Our repertoire is huge, ranging from Big Band Swing to the standards of Gershwin, Porter, Sinatra, Rogers & Hart to name a few. Rhythm Sensation is really a lot of fun. An exciting new band that plays contemporary hits that keeps the dance floor pumpin’. They play it all from current dance tunes to Hip Hop to Salsa to R & B along with great older songs from the past. Rhythm Sensation is a dynamic dance band that will get the party rockin’.

Our vocal stylists add a unique touch to any special event. We have a truly awesome "Barry White" vocalist that you "Can't Get Enough" of and our swingin' "Sinatra" stylist will bring the Rat Pack to your party and "Fly You To The Moon"!

Ceremony Ensembles and cocktail music is available as well. You can choose from a variety of classical groups from Strings to Harp to Brass to Woodwinds. Our cocktail music can be jazzy or popular or any thing you might desire.

was born from the vision of the

masterful guitarist, Joe Bonacci,

leader/founder of “SOCA JOE” and

the Manhattan Swing Orchestras.

He brings to this CD the musical

richness and diversity that can only

come from the cultivation of a wide

variety of musical experiences.

Those experiences include

completing tracks with Yoko Ono

on John Lennon's last album, live

performances with the legendary

“mambo king”, Tito Puente, John

Lewis of the Modern Jazz Quartet,

Freddie Hubbard and numerous

renowned artists. Joe’s work can

also be found in a variety of

records, TV themes and

commercials.

This time around “SOCA JOE” is

made up of some of the most

dynamic and esteemed session

players and artists in New York City

including David Mann, Gary

Haase, Primadonna (Queen Of The

is infused with cool sophistication

Special Features and

frequently asked questions

1. What size is the band?

! Our average band is 8

pieces:! female vocalist, guitar, male

vocalist, piano/keyboard, bass,

trumpet, sax/flute and drums. We do

suggest adding a 2nd female vocalist,

it gives the orchestra more exciting

entertainment possibilities and

possibly a 3rd horn, trombone, which

gives the horns a lot more punch and

our latin percussionist adds the

rhythmic drive so many dance

records have.

2. What should we do for the

cocktail hour?

! Jazz guitar & bass or piano &

saxophone is a great jazzy

combination for an upbeat cocktail

hour.

3. What do you suggest for the

ceremony?

! We like our String Trio which

consists of: flute, violin and cello. This

ensemble usually performs for the

ceremony hour. They play while your

guests arrive and are being seated

then through the actual ceremony.

After, they play lively recessional

music as your guests proceed to

cocktails.

4. Do you play a hora?

! Absolutely and a great hora

at that! Manhattan Swing is adept at

all international dances.

5. Would you learn a special

request?

" Yes. We’d be glad to prepare

a few songs that might not be in our

repertoire.

6. My parents don’t like loud

music, what can be done?

! We know exactly what you

mean. This is a social event as well as

a dance so the right blend of soft

dinner music interspersed with lively

dance music allows everyone to enjoy

the party.
