Robert Stone leads a team of six Senior Business Consultants while still remaining anactive consultant as well. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services,including consumer and commercial lending, working with clients across industries in thepublic and private sectors. He has worked as a client as well as a consultant, with a strongemphasis on analytics, loss forecasting, stress testing (including CCAR and DFAST), Baseland strategy development. He brings deep expertise to senior-level managers and a highlycustomized and impact-driven approach using the right combination of data, analytical toolsand consulting.

Prior to joining Experian, Stone held various leadership positions at Bank of America;Citigroup; HSBC; Credit One Bank; MDS/CCN and Fair Isaac and Company. He hasworked across all risk spectrums, from super prime to near prime and subprime, andmultiple products, with a particular emphasis on Mortgage, Credit Card and other retailconsumer loan products.

Client: Leading U.S. consumer and commercial bank
Challenge: The client is facing new regulatory compliance challenges, such asComprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) requirements. To comply withthese and other requirements for its mortgage and home-loan products, they neededto develop, refine and validate rigorous models.
Although the client had an initial compliance strategy in place, it did not havesufficient in-house staff or resources to create, document and review its modeling andstress testing to satisfy regulators and internal auditors. They needed a consultantthat could work closely with its in-house team to support sophisticated models thatwere tailored to meet its specific compliance obligations.
