the Crusaders – cannot give up his loyalty to the Blues. He is currently running a Maori/Pacific Island Leadership programme in High Schools and was the

People’s Choice winner for Survivor NZ Season 1.

Kerri has worked in and for the community sector for over 20 years She has worked as a manager, a volun-

teer and a consultant, and currently volunteers as a trustee for Good Neighbour Aotearoa Charitable Trust.

Her passion lies with grass-roots groups who are committed to making a difference, no matter how hard

they have to work to make it happen.

Kerri is described as a dynamic speaker and ‘terrific storyteller’ who engages her audience right from the

get-go. She is a Member of the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand and the New Zealand Association of

Training and Development. She is also a MSD Approved Capability Mentor and regularly works with organi-

sations one-on-one to help them to the next level.

Chris is a senior consultant with Leadership Lab where he works alongside organisations in the educa-

tion, health, social services and community sectors in a range of projects. These include design and

delivery of leadership development programmes, change management initiatives, organisational capa-

bility and strategic planning. For a number of these organisations capacity building leadership labs are

currently being implemented with groups of 25-40 leaders over 9-12 months in a range of sectors includ-

ing health, social services, education and local government (see www.leadershiplab.co.nz for details).

Resilience is a frequently used, but in reality, little understood term. Dr Lucy Hone has made it her mis-

sion over the last ten years to understand resilience – what it means, who has it, what enables it and

prevents it. In this lively workshop Dr Hone shares her extensive research on the topic, combining her

academic knowledge with personal insights gleaned from living through the Christchurch earthquakes

and substantial personal loss. Lucy’s training is inspirational, insightful and above all practical as she

translates key research findings for real world impact.
